Dr. Stephen Ellis Natelson

Compassionate and caring, gave exacting information on diagnosis and treatment, successful surgery, post operative period was uneventful, followup was excellent. have know this surgeon for 40 years, worked with him professionally and they do not come any finer. He is direct and frank but does not give you any bull. Would definitely use him again or at least seek his opinion.

Natelson messed up on a simple placement of a shunt. He damaged the shunt and my mother sustained so much damage from his forceful attempt to place the shunt that she hemorraged. He refused to visit her during recovery because he knew he caused her paralysis. She endured 5 brain surgeries trying to repair his damage. She lived 10 more years, dying a quadriplegic. He was rude and showed no remorse. Horrible man and an even worse physician.
