Dr. Nicholas is an exceptional doctor & surgeon, not only because he does great work in the OR, but also because he truly cares about his patient’s long term results after. When I became lax about PT & doing my home exercises, he gave me a deeply concerned talk about doing my part for optimum results. He restored my incentive & I’m very grateful he cares so much.

I am a patient of Doctor Nicholas for 23 years when he first performed reconstructive ACL surgery on my knee. The successful surgery and aftercare afforded me to be able to get right back into my active lifestyle and to this day I stand strong because of his continued care. His has a wonderful bedside manner, excellent medical expertise, compassionate care response in treating me. Over the years he has treated my other ailments with total success, patiently guiding me through healing. I compliment the standard that Doctor Nicholas sets for the entire staff at New York Orthopedics..a true Commitment to Excellence! I appreciate him and I am grateful that he is my Doctor. Dr. Nicholas is a fantastic doctor. My husband had knee surgery with him 20 years ago, and now I had the opportunity to be treated by him as well. I had a complex meniscus tear and was in significant pain. When I saw Dr. Nicholas, I expected a long wait before surgery, but to my surprise, it was scheduled within just three days of my first appointment. So far, I’ve had two follow up appointments with Dr. Nicholas and never had to wait. On the day of surgery, I wasn’t sure what to expect and assumed there would be long delays, as is often the case in hospitals. Instead, everything ran perfectly on time. The level of professionalism was outstanding—Dr. Nicholas and his entire team were organized, polite, and extremely professional. I am incredibly thankful to Dr. Nicholas and his team and would highly recommend them.
