Dr. Pesicek does not have the ability to correctly diagnosis patients' who have potential devastating diagnoses - he treated my family member for something that he thought would have been rather simple to treat and resolve. However in attempting to treat, prescribe and mis-diagnos multiple times for approximately 3 months he finally decided that a Specialist needed to get involved and actually asked me not to mention to the specialist that he had been treating this condition incorrectly because he was embarrassed !!!!! after seeing a specialist it was quickly discovered a diagnosis of oral cancer. After losing part of her face as well as a skin graft and reconstruction of her mouth, jaw and face her quality of life has been poor as she also will never be able to have her feeding tube removed because she lost the ability to swallow. Had we not been so devastated with this outcome and subsequent treatments, hospital stays, Dr. visits, radiation etc. etc. etc. you can be assured we… would have taken legal action, unfortunately we did not and I am mentioning this now because I would never want anyone else to go thru what our Family has been thru because this was not taken care of quickly enough and treated as it should have been in the beginning. There are plenty of other qualified, competent dentists in the area.
