Dr. Stephen Mark Pickstone, MD

I arrived 5 min late and he had already told the front desk to reschedule me and had left the building! Given what I'm being treated for, each time prior to an appointment, it is extremely difficult for me to leave the house. Wow, what a caring doctor!?!?! I would have been 10 minutes early, if I didn't have to deal with my anxiety-induced-IBS. Oh ya, that's why I need to see a doctor... What a JERK!

He doesn’t care about his patients, you have an emergency and he doesn’t have the decency to see you. Stay far away horrible doctor.

Only seen him a few times and he is ok. I would say average with everything.

Dr Pickstone is so rude. I've overheard how he speaks about his patients and how he calls them crazies. Go see him if you want to be made fun of when you leave!

Just ok. Kinda just goes through the motions. Did get the feeling he really cares.

I absolutely love him, but he's doing less and less direct patient care and more research. It's rare to find such a warm and caring doctor.

...I can comment on his overall demeanor. My apppointments with him are short, but he seems to take a genuine interest in my health. I don't get the impression that he is arrogant or full of himself, although I supposed any doctor could come off that way. Dr. Pickstone also teaches (or taught) at the collegiate level at The Ohio State University, and I can tell you from personal experience (I teach also) that most educators are not full of themselves. If this were the case, they wouldn't be able to relate to their students, their students would consistently give poor evaluations of the professor and the class, and the professor wouldn't have a job for too long.
