Dr. Stephen D. Poss
Dr. Poss graduated from David Lipscomb University and attended the University of Tennessee Dental School. Dr. Poss continued his post graduate training at Baylor University and then at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
He has directed numerous live patient continuums at various teaching institutes including the Clinical Director of both the Anterior and Posterior continuums at the Las Vegas Institute from 1997-2004. Dr. Poss is currently the Clinical Director at The Center for Exceptional Practices in Cleveland, Ohio and is also on the editorial team of the Reality publishing.
In 2004, The Consumers’ Research Council of America recognized Dr. Poss as one of ‘America’s Top Dentists.’ He was also one of the select few chosen to open a regional learning center for the enhancement and education of dentists on the latest cosmetic and restorative materials.
Dr. Poss lectures internationally on esthetic dentistry and TMD. He is an active …consultant to several dental manufacturers in the area of new product development and refinement. He has had numerous articles published in most of the leading dental journals. He maintains a full-time cosmetic oriented restorative practice in Brentwood, Tennessee.
About the Sleep Apnea Practice
Dr. Poss' practice has had an emphasis on TMJ, sleep bruxism for 27 years. Most recently he has continued his education in sleep breathing disorders for the treatment of sleep apnea for the CPAP intolerant and those with mild to moderate sleep apnea with oral appliances.
