Dr Rawe I want to thank you for operating on my late husband Dewayne back in 2005- you are amazing I can not ask for any better, It pains me to say unfortunately Dewayne passed he had a Pulmonary embolism K just wanted to thank you for all you did I remember being in the room with you and him when you told him he had exclusive nerve damage and unfortunately you couldn't fix it and that in 5 years he would be in a wheelchair or completely bed ridden, At least I can say that you are honest about things that means alot. You gave him more time to spend with me and our son K appreciate everything you did you are amazing I te!l every one I know about you and I tell them to go to you for any Neurosurgery That you for all you did

Today I had to make a an appointment with Dr. John Steichen, I have been having trouble again with my back. Dr. Rawe I saw from 1999 thru 2012. he did C-fusion, perfect and then I had 2 low back fusions. I would go in for check and he would send me to get low back injection. He never pushed me to have surgery, that is what I loved about him. Dr. David Baird ref me to him, I felt very lucky. After going for years to get low back injections, he finally said we had gone long enough now my back had to be fixed. I am from the school I don't care if my doctor has good bedside manners or not. I want to know he is good. He is amazing. I miss him so much and since now I am having back problems I am seeing another doctor in the same practice. Again I miss him he was awesome and he too great care and after a surgery in the recovery room I saw him come up to my feet to see if I felt them , I looked up to see him doing that and he gave me a smile. He is awesome. Miss you Dr. Rawe.

I only saw him twice, and it was a long time ago--35 years--but I'll never forget it. I was 13 and in full-blown shunt failure. He did everything necessary to dx me, operated promptly, and conducted my followup as a true, compassionate professional. That was in 1980, and I STILL have that shunt, working wonderfully. Thank you, Dr. Rawe!

Dr. Rawe is an amazing doctor whose treatment stopped my pain and changed my life. I highly recommend him.

He is a neurosurgeon. He is the best doctor we have ever had. In the 38+ years, we have only needed him a half a dozen times, but every one of those times it was a matter of life or death. He saved my husband's life and brains. Smartest doctor in the building. Phenomenal surgeon. Brilliant mind. Great communicator. Cool, calm and collected under stress. In charge, has a plan and immediately puts patient at ease. Never made a mistake or even a misstep. We have always felt safe when my husband was in his hands. In those 38 years my husband has seen well over 300 doctors; 100 in 2014 alone. He is heads and shoulders above the rest. Dr. Rawe has all of the traits of the perfect physician.

First experience went well. At first the staff and Dr. Rawe were very nice and helpful. After 2-3 check ups and calls for questions and concerns I was told by the PA and Dr. Rawe that I was wasting their time. I have been very skeptical and worried about the surgery due to the severity of the procedure. I feel as if the office deals with it on a regular basis and does not see the side of the patient who could be very hesitant to have a spinal cord surgery. I was told of a potential surgical date by Dr. Rawe and was given time to think about it. I called that day to confirm. I have now waited 3-4 business days without any response on a potential surgical date.

This doctor...has performed multiple needed surgeries on my spine...starting in 1994. He's the best and is the only doctor I want touching my spine! He's awesome. I love him. so do my grown up kids and old hubby. follow up after visits....I can't recall any doctor doing that much anymore. it would be a nice touch tho :)

Had a brain hemorrhage 1994... The he is the best. Very nice !! I would never go to another doctor. Highly recommend him. I am doing great after all these years ... Thank you Dr. Rawe !!!

My surgery was in 2009 and it is now 2012. I could not be doing. I feel great. If I had to have surgery like that again, I would not let any other Dr.do the surgery except Dr. Rawe. I trust him and would recomend him to anyone.

Love him, trust him, he is great!!!!!!
