Dr. Stephen John Ronan, MD

Disinterested, arrogant, could care less attitude. Once you’ve parted with your money and the damage is done, this Doctor wants nothing to do with you, or even shows any concern to fix his poor work. Zero compassion or empathy. Approach with caution if you must, best advise STAY AWAY! Wish I had!

Had a fat transfer that changed my life. End result, looked like a pumpkin. I have been to other plastic surgeons for advice, but basically told that due to placement of fat cannot correct it. My fault for going to this surgeon and not consulting with other surgeons regarding this procedure. I look in the mirror and get so upset by my stupidity and his work!

Dr. Ronan and the staff at Blackhawk are all above and beyond the call of duty. I found Dr. Ronan to be sharp, direct and candid all with compassion. He's by far THE best plastic surgeon and his accolades pale in comparison to the real thing. I chose him (amongst 4 top doc 2nd opinions) for revision work and the results are fabulous. I'm so grateful to Dr. Ronan and his team for their expertise and TLC. I highly recommend Dr. Ronan and Blackhawk! Keep kicking a** and making miracles! :)

Does not explain the procedure well, or in any detail, and has a tendency to push aside or minimize legitimate patient concerns. Does not appear to show genuine caring and excellence in the performance of plastic surgery. Disappointing as a patient and anticipated a more pleasing result. Mostly appears awkward and uncomfortable with a patient. Very poor "bedside manner". Would not recommend to anyone. The magazine displaying "best doctors" designation in this case does not apply.

When i first went into his office i was nervous i was not sure if i was going through with what i had in mind. But then after entering and meeting the staff they were very nice and made me feel comfortable. When i decided to go on with the breast augmentation everything was done at the time i wanted which made me feel good about choosing Dr. Ronan and even now when i go to my scheduled times for checks they are very nice and don't make me wait. I recommend this doctor because i think he and his staff are and did a great job in follow-ups.

I must be among the WORST patients - nervous, neurotic, always second-guessing, full of anxieties... and Dr Ronan and the entire staff, then, have to be the BEST around. Danville is nowhere near my home, but I've seen Dr Ronan for 3 procedures now and I have been extremely satisfied and happy with the results every time - these folks are fantastic!

Ten years after my first breast enhancement and breast feeding two kids, my boobs needed fixed. Even fake boobs get messed up from breast feeding! I went to Dr. Ronan (because I heard he was the best) and after seeing the results, and going thru the whole process, I know he is the best. Bret, and the front desk staff are welcoming and professional, the Sandy and Dianna- the nurses make you feel so comfortable (It was like having my best girlfriend there with me through the whole surgery). I felt in the best hands with Dr. Ronan; he is calm, direct and knows how to do his job so well. In looking for any one person in a specific field of service, I believe in leaving the work up to the professional is the way to go. Just relax, let the doc do his job and the results will turn out amazing. I would recommend him to anyone wanting plastic surgery, whether for a reconstructive surgery or for a new surgery.

I had 5 consultations for my breast augmentation and Dr. Ronan's office was hands down the best. His persona puts you at ease and he is very confident. His staff couldn't have been nicer and his office is gorgeous! I was able to have my surgery done very quickly and felt like one of his most important patients throughout the whole experience. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Blackhawk Plastic Surgery Center and have had numerous friends go to Dr. Ronan wanting for their breasts to look like mine. I get compliments from women at pools saying how amazing they look, asking if they are real and if they aren't real who did them.? I'm extremely happy I went with Dr. Ronan, all of my research paid off and now I can save my friends plenty of time and energy.

It's been a year since I had my eyes done and it's the best thing I have done for myself. I no longer look droopy and tired. I now look bright and refreshed and I can't be any happier. I am a stickler and did extensive research for the best plastic surgeon in the Bay Area and Dr. Ronan came out on top. Simply put, he is the best. The staff is amazing and accomodating as well.
