Dr. Stephen Robert Rubenstein, MD

He was my grandmother's physician for 4-5 years and despite her regularly presenting very obvious indicators of cancer that a first-year medical student would (and did) catch, he never ordered a single test. Her new provider ordered the appropriate tests at the first visit and she was unfortunately diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer. Whether Stephen is too ignorant or indifferent, he should be avoided.

If I could give no stars I would. This man needs to be reviewed because I cannot be the only victim of his erratic behavior and prejudiced attitude and outright cruelty. Do not go to this doctor.

Dr. Rubinstein is a careful and attentive listener, and highly knowledgeable as a diagnostician, which makes him an indispensable front-line physician. Furthermore, he keeps current on medical literature, giving him a combination of experience and up-to-date knowledge. I feel very lucky to to be in his care.

He's a doctor who doesn't want to be a doctor. Seeing him for 8 months and every time I brought up an issue I was having or concerned about he always ...

Good Doctor as far as I'm concerned. The Office Staff is not so good. Customer service is a low priority and common courtesy is not existent. Bad Attitudes all around. Latest issue, they screwed my credit over a $25 missed appointment fee I was unaware of even after my wife and I having both been there SEVERAL times since. At any point they could have simply said we owed them $25. Perhaps you could mention that while I write a check for my copay... After years of using this practice I found out about this fee through a collection while trying to buy a house. Their attitude, we don't care. I don't care if Rubenstein cures cancer, we won't be going back to this office staff. We've had enough.

I've been a patient of Dr Rubenstein's for 19 years, and absolutely adore him. His always kind and compassionate care is wonderful, and not once has he ever rushed me. He always takes the time to listen to me, and his diagnoses' are right on the money. A better physician can't be found!
