Dr. Stephen Salvatore Salmieri, DO

I can’t say enough about Dr. Salmieri & his team! He really knows what he’s doing and genuinely made me feel loved & like he was going to take care of me (which he did). I had a myomectomy performed by him on 7/26/23. His team was so kind! Sheena in the front office was amazing! As well as Dr. Kim Sue! Nurse Melissa was beyond helpful. She answered every question so patiently and quickly, before and after my surgery. They are so caring, it really shows. You feel like a part of the family! My scar looks amazing! My surgery went off without a hitch & my healing has been quick. If you are thinking about using this office, do yourself a favor and DO IT!! Thank you so much 1000 times guys! You’re my gift from God!

He is very kind and patient with his exam. Answered all of my questions. I even referred my granddaughter to him for care

Accepts new patients, however it was a 2 hour wait. First rule: if you can’t see new patients in a timely manner- do not accept new patients. Surgery needed for a pelvic mass >20cm, normal blood work at the time so the chances of cancer being present were very low. When concern about increased pain and possibility the mass was growing was expressed, Dr. Salmieri stated “I don’t put one patient above another,” that “it was a business,” and “I wouldn’t wait more than 4 weeks to have it removed.” Five days later, his scheduler contacted me for a surgery date 6 weeks out. When told that Dr. Salemeri said not to wait more than 4 weeks, the schedulers response was “that’s his first available.” Needless to say, after another trip to the ER the following week, I went with another doctor and had surgery within a week. The mass had grown and cancer was detected. Dr. Salmieri may be considered a “great” surgeon by some, but I would never recommend a patient to him or his “business.”

Thank you so much for making time to listen what I had to say about my tragedies on my life ,the compassion for my pains from unsuccessfully total hysterectomy (not having cancer only utter prolapsed -with a doctor women J. L who did let me with a lot of pains for years and who did cut too short my ligaments than now a surgeon cannot lift my bladder on my own ligaments . Your many years of education and experience and kindness, compassion and sincere caring, and concern make everything better . Dr. Salmeri is a kind person. But in my opinion he is arrogant. But my biggest issue is that I was not even examined for the issue I was there for. I was referred to Dr. Salmeri because my gyn did an ultrasound and found a complex cyst with a mass around it. She wasn't sure what is was so she sent me here. Dr. Salmeri only talked to me. He didn't examine me. He said he specializes in this and doesn't need to do an ultrasound. But then proceeds to tell me that he can't see anything from the ultrasound image sent from my doctor. He wrote down a whole bunch of information that I already know. I felt as if he thought I was ignorant. I came to him looking for answers. Not only did I not get any, I left feeling even more depressed that no one can help me. The nurse was also not very informative. She asked me the same question several times and told the doctor some information that I never said. I will write a formal complaint.

First appointment went well . Every appointment after was chaos . From the long waits , to the mis information , to falling through every crack possible and more . I would not recommend this doctor . He never once checked on me after surgery . Didn’t seem to care that I had fallen through every crack possible . Last appointment him and his staff left me undressed under a paper cloth for an hour . I was furious , humiliated and beyond disappointed . I would not have gone to that appointment had it not been my 2 nd checkup from a full hysterectomy . He is to proud to apologize or admit he is wrong and his patients are suffering .

Office staff is the worst ever. Calling for 4 days to get a new prescription.

Wonderful care and compassion by Dr. Salmieri & staff!

He will work with you... to a point!... then he makes a decision.... ( not sure if he knew everything that happpend)... just know that my wife Died and I know that we being people no matter how much we think we know ... our decisions affect others.... he's a good doctor but seems to be a little spontaneous. Maybe someday I'll talk to him again and maybe he can make me feel better about my wife's death.. probably not! But his decision for Candy was DEATH! Now I get to raise my seventeen year old son without his mother( who saw her DIE in our home... from DEHYDRATION) ... CANCER didn't have anything to do with it.... anyway take your chances...
