Dr. Stephen Charles Scharf, MD

The most comforting professional i have encountered in over 3 years. Dr, Scharf was able to access my issue in one visit. I have information on the pain i have had from a surgery over 3 yrs ago. It was a failrly simple explanation to an ongoing issue. He really listens to his patients. Bless you Dr Scharf.

I went to Dr. Scharf's department for a parathyroid scan. The paperwork was dealt with efficiently, the staff was amazingly courteous and professional. The office is clean and welcoming. Dr. Scharf discussed the findings of my exam with me and did not seem rushed and was quite engaging. The actual test was efficient and not scary and the technician assigned to me could not have done his job better.Finally, this scan found a lesion that was missed elsewhere.

I almost wish Dr. Scharf could see this review...My 5 yr old son had a nuclear renal scan 2 days ago. Nothing urgent or life threatening, but probably needs attention. Not sure if Dr.Scharf makes a habit out of sitting w/patients during a scan or if he did so b/c it was a pediatric case. However, he sat with us for atleast an hour and explained his thoughts in detail. Even attempted to get the ped urologist on the phone during scan! Wonderful, kind, and caring man who was great with a nervous mommy and her little boy. Definitely put my son at ease!
