Terrible wait time. Terrible bedside manner and a liar. Cancelled my appointment he scheduled on one of his regular days off and then told me the closest periodontists that could do the procedure was in Seattle. The one I found in Boise to do it told me any periodontist could do it anywhere. Such a terrible experience.

I was very anxious due to the nature of my appointment but was pleasantly surprised how smooth the whole thing went. The staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr Shenk.

I was referred to Dr. Schenk for oral surgery and a soft tissue graft procedure. It was my first time for a periodontics procedure, and I have to admit I was a very nervous new patient! Dr. Schenk was very thorough in explaining the procedure to me. He took his time and answered my questions. The staff was amazing--so friendly and helpful! The charges for the surgery were submitted to my dental insurance with no problem at all. During the procedure, Dr. Schenk made sure I was not feeling any pain, and he kept me informed of each step throughout the surgery. He did a great job! He let me sit for a while after the surgery, and made sure I was okay before I went home. He even gave me his personal cell phone number to call if I had any complications or problems at home after surgery. I just returned from my follow-up visit, and I received the same quality service from him and his staff as I did on the day of surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Schenk to anyone.
