Dr. Stephen Lloyd Schmidt, MD

My sister underwent lump removal with lymph node dissection for breast cancer by Dr. Schmidt. She developed a seroma and hematoma afterwards and was told to go to the ER to have it drained. She was admitted to the hospital. When Dr. Schmidt went to see her, he told her there was no reason for her to be there and was very rude. He left the room and made the comment that maybe he should find a needle to drain it and did not return. My sister was then discharged from the hospital. Very rude bedside manner. She still is having bleeding from the breast and was told by him this is normal, NOT!! I will never refer anyone to him.

Dr. Schmidt is very caring.

Minor outpatient surgery at Nason Hospital Felt comfortable and had confidence in the surgeon No one likes to have surgery, but I was more relaxed and I would recommend Dr Schmidt. I was awake for procedure He answered any questions I had.
