Dr. Stephen Fredric Serbin, MD

May 28, 2019, I had a routine followup to a previous issue. Unfortunately, I'm assuming because Dr. Serbin had a student assisting him, he decided to enumerate past concerns that had absolutely NOTHING to do with that visit. With that being said, I asked many questions pertaining to his comments. In my opinion he became agitated and at one point condescending. However because of who I am, I continued to ask questions (Isn't that what we as patients are encouraged to do?) That day was the last day I will be a patient of his. We as individuals, and I don't care who you are and how long you done a job, should NEVER ever forget why you do what you do! PERIOD!

Dr. Serbin is very easy to talk with. His responses are straight forward and easy to understand. If you want further explanation he will accommodate you. I feel very comfortable and relaxed with him.

I called for a refill on my medicine that I urgently needed and I waited 48 hours with no action. Then I called and the nurse confirmed he had my information and she said I should hear back by the end of the day. Three more days go by and nothing, so I called again and was told he was out of town and it would be a few more days! I am finding a different doctor!

Dr Serbin has been my primary health care provider for 5 or more years. I have been pleased with the care I have received.

Very arrogant and has already decided what what's wrong with you (and how he's going to treat you and what he's going to order on you) before he ever sees you. I assume he just goes by what the nurse tells him you said when she checks you in.
