Dr Signer is the best. I have been Dr Signer since 2011 and he has always helped me. From our talk to him prescibing me my meds. Dr. Signer always listens to my needs and I WILL DEFINITELY keep going to him. HE has saved my life. Keep up the good work Dr. Signer.

Dr. Signor refused to communicate with a conservator during a recent hospitalization and made serious errors throughout the week he saw our family member. I found that he settled in a malpractice case, details are on the state medical board website. Not recommended at all. Very surprised that he is on the board of Psych Centers of San Diego.

Dr. Signer and I communicate well. I've been seeing him for about 20 years. Through thick and thin he's been there for me. Thanks, Doctor.

It is with great concern that I am contacting Union Tribune regarding a terrible medical organization with several office locations in our county. There are tons of awful reviews from years of patient’s experiences with this psychiatric medical group. Most patients like me, are on Medicare or some other insurance and had no other choice for psychiatric help. I am 60 years old and know my way around doctors, office staff, etc., due to numerous health issues through the years, and at this point in time I feel that it would be irresponsible of me if I didn’t report my experience to higher authorities and hopefully have the News team investigate and expose the ugly truth about PCSD. I was scheduled to have surgery tomorrow (been waiting for 2 months) and my surgeon contacted me on Tuesday afternoon in regards to a medication I was on, prescribed by Dr. Signer (Rancho Bernardo office). My surgeon discussed the situation with me and advised me to get a hold of my doctor ASAP to… discuss the urgent matter and come up with a “game plan” due to the fact that the medication needed to be stopped immediately to allow for the required 72 hours off the medication before surgery. Like many psych meds, you cant just stop taking it. You will end up in the emergency room if you try to stop like that. I immediately contacted the Rancho Bernardo office and told the office staff about my surgery and that it was an urgent matter and I needed to speak with Dr. Signer ASAP. I made it very clear that this was really important and they assured me that they would follow thru on reminding my doctor to call me. In addition I left a voicemail for my doctor asking him to call me ASAP regarding this surgery. I literally begged my doctor to call me. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. My surgery was canceled because of this. I am never going back to them again. I was on the phone for several hours today with medical advocates and other authorities. Forgot to change my meds after being released from the hospital. Does not proof read his medical transcripts/dictations. Horrible misunderstandings as result. Arrogant, unsympathetic. Would never recommend to someone already struggling with life!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Signer's for years and discontinued treatment in '03. Returned last year 2012. Signer repeatedly failed to complete Social Security Disability treatment reports. After I submitted a written request to him to complete the paperwork, he gave excuses for not completing it and after I contacted management he sent me a letter terminating my treatment and lied, stating he was discontinuing my treatment due to me not coming in for my scheduled appointments. This is an unethical doctor that has lost sight of his responsibility to his patients (customers).

He is a rude man.

This guy is the best psycho-pharmacologist - really knows medications. I had basically given up on ever getting better. After seeing him twice I was vastly improved and am now able to function at a normal level. I owe him alot. He's not there to hold your hand but gets down to the problem immediately. Highly recommend him. Office staff leaves alot to be desired.

I have seen Dr. Signer for years. He has never had a good bedside manner. Never will. But he was always on top of things. This year, 2011, something is wrong. Dr. Signer spends 'my' session with him doing the following: reading the news online, taking phone calls, writing out incorrect prescriptions for me, telling me to see doctors that I already see, and that he consults with - but he has apparently totally forgotten about this. He does not spend time with me like he used to. Even though his bedside manner is horrible, you could tell he cared about his patients. Not now. He just seems to want to get me out of his office as fast as he can. And I know it can't be me. I came online to see if anyone else was having problems with him, as his behavior is so strange, and sure enough, others are complaining as well. PCSD should look into this. Writing out the wrong prescriptions for patients could end in lawsuits and worse.
