Dr. Stephen Turner Simpson, MD

I appreciate Dr. Simpson because he listens to me when I have a concern. He never rushes out as some doctors do. Dr. Simpson is thorough when going over any changes since your last appointment. I appreciate the time he takes to get the right diagnosis.

Dr Simpson along with 2 orthopedist s, 1 urologist, 1 gastroenterologist, 2 cardiologists and 2 radiologist missed finding pancreatic and liver cancer until it was too late to treat. As a direct result my father in law died 2 weeks after getting a diagnosis. This was a total failure of communication by these physicians. They should have caught these symptoms at least 3-4 months earlier and at least given him a chance to have treatment.

Dr. Simpson is a wonderful doctor. He listens to your concerns without making you feel rushed. He’s professional, yet he’s still down to earth, and puts you at ease immediately. Most importantly, he’s genuinely concerned about his patients. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor.

No one knew I had spinal meningitis, and this man caught it within minutes. He literally saved my life.

Dr Simpson really cares about his patients! He was on vacation when I had appendicitis! He called MI Medical Center to make sure I was taken care of! Now it's been a week since I had surgery and he calls me to check on me! Not many Drs will do that!

I was seen by Mr Simpson, he doesn't deserve to be called a doctor, he was very cordial for the first two or three visits over 2 years. But when you really have problems, he doesn't try to help you he just passes you to someone else in his office. You finally have to go out of town to get an answer. Paperwork of any kind he will not do..

Very hospitable and listens to everything I say. Great personality. I never feel hurried or rushed during my visits. Always a pleasure visiting my doctor.
