Dr. Stephen Edward Small, DO

My experience with this Physician and staff have always been a top notch. Dr. Small is a wonderful plastic surgeon who always proceeds with your visit with understanding.

My visit was very nice. Dr and staff had a genuine concern about me and my needs as a patient. Would recommend to others.

Another great experience at the office. I needed a quick appointment to check on something and I was able to get in to see Dr. Small the next day. Thank you again for being available and able to help me. Your office is wonderful!!

I truthfully can not say enough good things about both Dr. Small and the WONDERFUL staff! Being told over the phone by the referring dermatologist that the biopsy done on my foot during a yearly routine body scan was determined to be melanoma and that I needed a plastic surgeon to remove it was shocking to say the least. The moment I hung up I phoned Ocean Plastic Surgery late in the day where I was lucky enough to speak with Mickey. This kind caring nurse walked me through the process and showed such compassion that she not only put my mind at ease but also went over and above and emailed a contact at the initial dermatologists office and called me back after hours with the news that the melanoma had been caught so early that the worst part of the treatment to remove it would more than likely be the healing of the foot. Upon meeting Dr. Small his calming demeanor was a relief as well. I must say that in this day and age it isn’t always the case that you leave a doctors office… feeling as though you are in the best hands with people that were meant to be in the profession that they are in. That is EXACTLY the feeling I have for this understanding and personable staff from the surgeon to the office staff. Thank you all so much for all you do and more importantly how you do it!!

I would like to take a moment to take this opportunity to thank you for the care I received from your practice. From the office staff to the Doctor, all went as smoothly and satisfactory as I could ever ask for. I realize that this is essentially the way your office should be run, but, in this day and age where competence is sometimes lacking, your professionalism, bedside manner and surgical ability were exemplary, thanks.

Every visit has been very pleasant. Was very easy to get appointments and all of my questions and concerns were answered. When I had a concern about my incision, I left a message for Dr. Small and he called me back within a half hour and I was able to be seen the next morning. That really put my mind at ease.

I am extremely disappointed. I had a procedure done to my face and I am unhappy with the results. I now know what its important to see someone who speicalizes in the face and is not doing other areas of the body. I know have to spend more money to correct what is wrong. Never again.

I had a cosmetic procedure done about a year ago by Dr. Small. My results are disappointing at best and will need to be corrected at some point. What a stresssful experience. I had second thoughts and should’ve paid attention to what my gut was telling me at the time. There are more qualified doctors. Not to mention, his staff is mediocre at best. Do your research!!!

Dr Small is amazing! His staff is also amazing. From the second I met him I felt comfortable. He truly is an awesome surgeon!

Dr. Small made me feel so comfortable the first time I met him. He explained the procedure in detail and he put my mind at ease. I'm so happy with the outcome of my breast reduction. Besides being a great surgeon, he has an excellent bedside manner which is very important to me.
