I am Dr. Stephen Smith. I evaluate Injured Employees for the Division of Worker's Compensation in Texas. I am an independent examiner so do not work for the insurance companies or anyone else for that matter. The complainers remarks within this website are those whose injuries did not meet a threshold for impairment or disability therefore were denied their expected cash payout from the insurance company hence. They are people with psychological comorbidities, emotional issues and the perception of fault and entitlement who deliberately exaggerate symptom production for the purpose of secondary gain. The scientific term for these folks is Malingerer.

This doctor can't even show up on time. I think he drinks. Drinks a little too much. Peed himself right in front of me.

He is a straight forward/no nonsense kind of doctor who does what he needs to do. He is VERY thorough and takes the time needed to do a good job.

TOOK LESS THAN 15 MINUTES TO EXAMINE ME .STATED HE DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO LOOK AT MY MEDICAL REPORTS, WAS LATE. I SLIPPED AND FELL AT WORK AND LANDED ON CONCRETE FLOOR I DISLOCATED A DISC AND HE STATES I HAVE 0% MRI. WHEN HE GOT THERE HE TOOK OUT SOME MONEY AND SAID YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS ?THIS IS WHAT YOUR DOCTOR WANTS. THIS IS WHAT YOUR INSURANCE DOES NOT WANT TO GIVE YOUR DOCTOR.
