Dont listen to the other reviews from people that have never even seen him as a patient...they clearly are basing their opinions on some dumb book that his obviously vengeful family member wrote...as an actual patient. I can say he is an amazing physician who truly cares about his patients...dont believe everything you hear or read...ser for yourself!

This man is extremely psychotic. Read his daughter Rachel Sontag's book "House Rules", describing her childhood living with this horrid man. You do not want him in charge of your well being. The word needs to be spread.

Man, this guy stephen sontag is pretty hip and cool. Heck, just look at how well he treats his family in rachel sontag's hit book "House Rules". I'm sure he is a fantastically credible and good doctor, and that is proven in his loveless life with his family. I mean, I want to just eat him to absorb his incredibleness. Thanks Dr. Sontag!

We had the pleasure of meeting Dr Sontag on a recent visit to Hines VA Hospital's GI Clinic. We were very concerned about an apparent infection. Dr. Sontag explained what we were seeing and cautiously worked on the patient both to keep discomfort to a minimum but also to insure correction of the situation. He answered all of our questions in plain English and made more sense than many physicians we have spoken to. He is a wonderful physician who has dedicated his life to healing our veterans. Thank You Dr. Sontag.
