Poor office communication and questionable billing

Dr. Steady is a competent, trustworthy and caring physician. Has a phenomenal reputation in Sonoma, even though we all dread 'the' procedure, he has our confidence. Dr. Steady ensures patients receive the best medical attention possible as well as meds. Great doc.

I've been a patient of Dr. Steady for 7 years. I find him competent, but dealing with his office is frustrating and nearly impossible. There is a LONG message, finally asking for patient's pertinent information. Don't bother. They' won't call you back. If patients have a problem, I suppose it's emergency room time, because no one answers the phone OR returns calls. We are limited in Sonoma. He's here Wednesday afternoon only. It's beyond frustrating and I wouldn't accept it except that we have no choice.

He diagnosed me with (intestinal) Bacterial Overgrowth, then failed to treat it. He erroneously assumed the cause was an irritable bowel. His vision is narrow, his ego big.

Dr. Steven Steady is a very skilled, well trained supportive physician. He is an outstanding doctor.

Dr. Steady is one of the best GI Doctors and also handles organ transplants as a Surgeon.

I liked Dr. Steady. However, he was unable to help me. My concerns were that he failed on numerous follow-ups to look at the radiology reports regarding my diagnosis until my husband insisted.

When you speak he listens... but best of all he remembers you and you do not have to start over with every visit. This doctor takes the time to come out from behind his desk.

Dr Steady is top notched. He found a problem with my gallbladder where other Doctors couldn't. I finally had it out and am pain free. He has a wonderful bedside manner and takes time to LISTEN. I highly recommend him.
