He came highly recommended (by a doctor we respect), so I assume he is a good clinician, BUT....after waiting 7 weeks for an appointment for an EMR, the doctor's prescribed prep failed BOTH my wife and I. His primary hospital is in-network for very few insurance providers, so scheduling forced a complete change in our year's travel plans. At our post-op consult, he made it very clear that he: 1) wasn't responsible for fixing the health insurance problems in America, 2) our social schedule was not his problem, 3) he had no interest in making this (failure) right, and 4) even refused to accept responsibility for the prep procedure, attempting to blame the referring physician for choosing the prep (a flat out lie). Having done 7 previous preps, I found that the prep HE REQUIRED was different from the other SUCCESSFUL preps in 3 different aspects. The really upsetting part, however, was his apathy toward anything that wasn't his clinical procedure, and his quick willingness to flat out LIE… to us in an attempt to avoid any responsibility.

At 50 I had a colonoscopy- a polyp was found that was too big and difficult to take out and I was referred to a surgeon. The SURGEON told me that Dr. Steinberg was referred cases like mine from most of the GI doctors. I called, got an appointment in 2 days; 5 days later he took the polyp out with a colonoscopy and I was saved from surgery. Thanks to my surgeon, thanks to Dr. Steinberg

I had a stone stuck in my bile duct. My GI doctor tried an ERCP procedure to get it out but was unsuccessful. He referred me to Dr. Steinberg- "the best" ; got an appointment in a day- successful ERCP stone removed the next day- boy was I lucky

truly caring staff; super-specialist for endoscopic ultrasound procedures- recommended highly and they were right

I had a polyp which couldn't be removed at colonoscopy. I was facing surgery. My surgeon suggested that Dr. Steinberg was the GI doctor who took care of a lot of polyps that couldn't be removed. He removed it and saved me a surgery. Thanks to my surgeon and thanks to Dr. Steinberg

needed endoscoopic ultrasound- most experienced doctoe in South Florida. they took very good care of me

there aren't many doctors who perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) - I went to him because I was told by a number of people (doctors and others ) that he was the most experienced. I wasn't disappointed.

My bile duct was blocked and I needed an ERCP procedure to deal with it. My gi doctor tried but was not successful. He sent me to doctor Steinberg- "he's the best at these procedures". 15 minutes was all he took to fix the blockage
