Stephen Phillip Sullivan, MD

I have been seeing Dr Sullivan for almost 10 years and he is the most caring psychiatrist given the time constraints put on how long he can spend with each patient. He was very very responsive to my concerns and thoroughlylooked over and considered all of my needed medications to make the perfect match. Can not say enough about his style. Please remember he is not a psychologist and does not do "talk therapy" but will help you find someone and work together to provide even better care.

Dr. Sullivan has been treating me for three years now and has done an amazing job helping me deal with some very complex issues. He’s always available and is genuinely concerned and cares about my well-being. You will be in good hands with him.

Dr. Sullivan is hands down the best. He is never behind on his appointments, takes the time to listen, and provides excellent advice and treatment options. If you are looking for a psychiatrist in the Tarrytown and surrounding areas, look no further!

This guy is bad. He thinks he knows more than the patient and will refuse to listen to anything outside of his initial diagnosis (which is formed over one 30 minute or less session). Super arrogant and rude. I could've died and this guy would have kept pushing the wrong medication on me. Trust your gut when someone misdiagnoses you.

Great doctor, has helped me a lot over the years.

I went to this doctor for about six months. He was very positive and encouraging about my recovery at the first session. He continued to be concerned about my progress, and I would strongly recommend him. He is personable and easy to talk to--the best psychiatrist I have ever experienced!

He's a very cocky doctor who doesn't take the time to listen. Little is spoken. He's in it for the money. He should find another profession.

Your in, and your out. Would not recommend. Bedside manner is awful.

One would expect that a psychiatrist would be able to handle a situation such as being late for an appointment without getting emotional. If he can't handle his emotions how can he help others with theirs? He got into a highly emotional state and was dismissive and rude. Beware!
