Dr. Stephen Patrick Thies, MD

Showed up for a first appt and no one at the glass windows, I knocked, called out, tried to call and no one was there so I left. I called back and the receptionist told me I couldn’t come back because I wasted his time. Really? I guess no one else’s time is important. Glad I dodged the bullet!!

Dr. Thies is a terrific doctor. He listens to concerns and takes care of the issues at hand and looks to the things that could come up at a later time with that issue. I have been seeing him for a very long time, moved and tried another doctor...not satisfied, I now drive many miles to see him. He knows me and knows what works for me. He remembers my health needs each time I come in and works with my situation rather than the actual situation as a whole like most doctors do. In another words, he treats ME as the patient, NOT the symptom as a statistic or result from a study.

When going to see the doctor. Never has a kind thing to patient. Dose not listen to patient. He does what ever he wants and sends you home like you are beneath him. But if he can't fix you them let you go because your not getting any better to much trouble or an encovience to him. No bedside manner.

I saw Dr Thies 1 time I have chronic pain issues that I am trying to get off pain meds and find either non narcotic pain meds or ANYTHING else to help me cope. He did not listen to what I said, told me he thinks I should see a nuerologist because of my pain in legs and kicking at nite. The meds he prescribed me didnt work, I called to say they didnt, I NEVER EVER ASKED FOR NARCOTICS AND TOLD HIM I WOULDNT. Doesnt seem to matter they never offered non narcotic pain relievers and asked me to find another primary. So he doesnt know what he is doing or he doesnt care at all about people. I would strongly suggest another Dr if you have anything more than a cold. O, he wanted me to be checked for MS then let me go, all in a period of a little over 24 hrs. Who tells u that u might have MS and then drops u? someone that doesnt care
