The staff is friendly and helpful. I have been going to Dr Trammel for 20 years now and very happy with my service.

Was a patient for many years. Was made to feel like I was unimportant and like I was asking for unnecessary treatment won’t go back

This place is the worst. Not only did they charge me for lab work and lie but the staff is the most disrespectful and beyond rude. I will not be going back and I advise you to look for another doctor before coming to this office. I asked to speak with the office manager only to be placed on hold than get transferred to somebody else that did absolutely nothing. I then asked her to transfer me to the office manager and she then said oh she is not here. I asked for the voicemail and was transferred to an outdated voicemail that said she will be back Nov 5, today is Nov 14th,. Before I could leave a message the call just dropped and when I called back they put the gone for lunch message on. I hate this office and furthermore never seen the doctor once. I was not good enough to be seen by the doctor. I was new to the area and needed a new doctor. I made the biggest mistake picking this place. I wish I could give zero stars. So you can write a post but not call! You missed the entire… point of me needing to speak with you. But since you want to write a post let’s go. Your staff did not explain correctly because they were so busy trying to tell me to hush and listen. Wrong!! They should have heard my concern which they did not. I know how insurance works sir/ma’am, I work in insurance. I also pay labs upfront evey time I get them so I won’t have a bill. Your office staff lied. They told me I was paying an office visit plus labs. Now when I call today they said I only paid to get stuck with a needle. You all can’t even get your story straight. So before you start posting make sure you know facts whoever you are!! Finally like I said I will tell everyone I know about how horrible I have been treated by your office. People get tired of paying money to see a doctor or in my case a nurse (Doc to busy) and get treated like crap by your under paid and worthless staff. You couldn’t even pick up the phone and address my concerns. I even messaged you sir/ma’am on Facebook yet you still to busy. Nothing works in your office based on your own words not even your phones or internet system. What a joke. Don’t write, call next time.

Staff treats patients like they are doing you a favor for giving you the privilege to be seen by them. Very dismissive and rude when the issue to total fault on their end. No clue how to speak to people properly.

Dr Trammell is a great DR but I hate that you talk to a machine instead of a person. Took 2 and a half to get labs for surgery. Not good.

Very courteous and informative...Great Doctor that cares about his patients...

This was my friend's first visit. She has cerebral palsy so I went with her to help. He did not introduce himself. Just sat down and said what are we looking at today? I had my 10 month old baby with me who was very tired after our 1 1/2 hour wait. Shortly after he began talking with my friend, the baby began to fuss a little-not screaming by any means. About 3 seconds later, he looked at me and said, "I'm having a hard time talking." I was greatly offended because I thought he showed zero patience. I was there at the request of my friend, and I think he could have been more considerate.

Dr Trammell is a good doctor. The Desoto staff is rude, however. the Red Oak staff is friendly. If you want to accually see Dr. Trammell, go to the Red Oak office, and I think your complaints will be solved. Those assisting Dr. Trammell do their best, but things just seem to happen when he's away.

Dr. Trammell is a excellent GP usually overbooked and short on time. Most of the staff could stand improvement. Have known him for over 20 years and noticed the changes in staffing and time spend with him. Be articulate about your medical needs/ problems. He cares and that is important. His interest and caring is the reason my father in law had 10 more good years of life. Previous gp in another state answered my father inlaws medical concerns of feeling something was' off, not quite right with "we will run som more test in a few months if you still are feeling this way" dr Trammel ran some test couldn't find anything but knew something was probably not right because he knew us, the patient and knew he was not a complainer .so sent my father inlaw to a gastroenerologist who did tests -found a small spot, sent us on to an oncologist! Long story short NON Hodgkin's lymphoma 3 places early STAGE 2. If found a few months later chances of remission very low and good chance of death in… 1 year or less. MORAL OF STORY : dr. Needs to care, needs to know you, and knows when to send you on to other drs, to continue what the GP iniatiates! We have further instances in our family that Dr. Trammel has helped in similar, tho less dramatic dianoses than Cancer. But patient and general practitioner / family doctors need a established relationship if they are to make proper diagnoses. PS: father in law and 1st gp did have a established relationship but didn't CARE enough to pursue his patients complaints .
