Dr. Stephen Gordon Turner, MD

I saw Dr. Turner because I had congenital cataracts and a condition called Keratoconus. This combination is rare in some in their 20s. At the first visit, he diagnosed me with Keratoconus and told me that I would likely go blind at some point. Ok... He then insisted I have cataract surgery on both eyes which took about 6 months to complete. He never seemed to remember me from appointment to appointment and I spent a lot of time in his office. Most cataract patients are in their 70s but he never seemed to remember my unique case. He kept pushing more surgery on me and never remembered that I had already told him many times I wasn't interested in more surgery. While he is a good surgeon, he always had a gruff demeanor and deemed to have little compassion for his patients.

Very unprofessional and very rude. Entered the suite for the first time and didn't even introduce himself!! Did not speak to me and didn't tell me anything I didn't already know about my eyes. I'm not going to pay someone to be rude to me!!
