I have been a patient of Dr, Usala for at least a decade. After years of illness he was able to come up with a short list of possible causes and to his credit he was spot on! Dr. U is a very serious practitioner and his time is valuable. Plain spoken but kind he is very caring person. Thank you Dr. U, you are truly a Godsend. I must add the office staff are fantastic. They tend to your needs promptly and are always friendly.

Dr. Usala has been my doctor for ten years. When I met Dr. Usala I was in poor health. I was diagnosed with Adult onset Type 1 diabetes. Today I celebrate a full life with good control of my diabetes. Dr. Usala knows diabetic care and he understands the needs of his patients. I live life to the fullest today with an insulin pump. Dr Usala's nurses and staff are available, friendly, and prepared to help in anyway possible. I am grateful he is my doctor.

Doctor you saw is a kind, compassionate physician who really takes the time to address all of my health care needs. I think he’s a genius!

The wait isn't bad, the process isn't bad, but the doctor..I have been seeing him for 4 years and the first 6 months he would make me cry everytime. He does NOT let you talk about how you're feeling, he's extremely focused on his computer the whole time. He cuts you off, I honestly have to do a lot of my disease on my own. When I ask about something he turns it down because he obviously doesn't have time to listen to what I would like to try for my health. I wish I could use another endo but I don't have the time or energy to go find someone else. There's not a lot to choose from in Amarillo. I don't recommend him at all

This is a brilliant, caring physician. I'm hoping the medical profession can re-invent itself to train more physicians like him!

I travel from out of state to see Dr. Usala. He is cautious, yet will try new medications in a safe manner that has totally changed the care of my diabetes. Having Type I diabetes for 55 years, I feel my over all health has changed dramatically for the better since seeing Dr. Usala.
