Dr. Stephen Thomas Varner, MD

I was referred to Dr. Varner by another physician, this doctor did not listen to or take into account my reason for the visit. He asked me questions about my symptoms and when I tried to explain the reason I was there he shut me down , instead of him telling me he couldn’t handle my Illness he did what he wanted to do. This was a waste of my time.

Dr. Varner is a very good doctor but he needs to re-evaluate his office manger and fire the nurse that is usually with him in the office and they need to return calls with results of test also.My health is very important to me and I would like to feel that it is to the doctor and staff that I go to.I know the doctor can't see everything in his office that is y it is very important to have a good office manger a good nurse by ur side

I really like him. I feel like he was very professional towards me and sincere. He's a knowledgeable and good person.

Dr. Varner is one of the most caring physicians I have ever come in contact with.

Please do yourself a favor and find someone else. I had an outpatient procedure and when things went wrong I couldn't get anyone to help me. Absolutely horrible.

I was scheduled for an out patient procedure at the hospital. I waited in a hospital gown in an uncomfortable bed for 4 HOURS with no word from anyone. I finally got dressed and went home - that was 3 months ago and I have yet to receive a phone call from his office to see if I want to reschedule the surgery.
