Across the board wonderful Dr. and Wonderful staff!! I have had 4 deliveries with Dr Walker and I can say all were very memorable. He always took great care of me, listened to all my concerns, and always made sure I was doing great. I must say I do miss seeing him and his office staff regularly. Great OBGYN.

Dr. Walker delivered my only child 30 years ago. I was a pregnant teenager, and he was a fairly new practicing physician. He was absolutely FABULOUS!! Non judgmental, very professional, and compassionate! I wish I could have had more children, and I wish he could have delivered them!!

I think Dr walker pushed me to C-section. First he induced me 3 days before my due date for not much reasoning given except "That's how i will do it". I had 5 hours of labor pain with no Dr around to see me only nurse handling me. and then walks after 5 hrs and takes me for C-Section. What an easy way for him and then left me like a piece of crap. Not interested in after care.

My husband is active duty military so our stay in the area was short. I strongly believe that if we had enough time to have another baby while we were in Monterey, we would have. Dr. Walker is the most amazing doctor I have ever met. He's a straight to the point, no bull type of doctor, which my husband and I appreciate. If something is wrong, he'll tell you. I was so happy with my experience and so blessed to have had him as my doctor.

I will always love Dr. Walker. As a military spouse it was rough to go through a pregnancy away from family, but I was always confident that I was in the best care. Dr. Walker always gives every patient a thorough exam, which often means a long waiting room wait. The only time I saw this as bothersome was when I had a full bladder for my ultrasound. My little sweetpea didn't want to come out, but Dr. Walker was never pushy when it came to the options of induction, and the words "C-section" never once came from his lips. He knew to let me labor and let my body do the work, and for that I am so grateful. Even with complications he was calm and never once made me anxious or worried. He is very down to earth and I've met other women who have had as great as an experience as I did.

I am not only a patient of Dr. Walkers but as an RN I worked with him in outpatient surgery at CHOMP. He is a skilled surgeon and his patient's do well postop. As his patient, he has always listened to my concerns and needs. He has diagnosed several conditions and I've always appreciated his straight forward approach to treatment and the options he has afforded me. Because I work behind the scenes in the hospital, Dr. Walker is one of the few Ob-Gyns I would personally have as my MD.

I cannot express how uncomfortable i was in that office. The wait was extremely long to the point where i had to re schedule (my toddler wasnt wanting to wait any longer) the receptionist/nurses were snobby and rude. reminded me of high school they talked loudly to eachother about their days and plans and ignored the patients. Dr. walker made me uncomfortable and while he was giving me my exam was rough and didnt care if he was hurting me. i was very embarrassed and when i had to go back for a follow up i lied to him and said everything was fine just so he wouldnt have to give me another exam. I never went back.

I had to switch from this doctor, after many red flags during my care. He's very friendly and funny, which I like, but he talks a lot more than he listens. He is "not concerned" with my concerns, and didn't listen to what I was saying, despite me clearly telling him what was wrong. Instead, I was examined and told that I clearly didn't have any signs of X medical problem, then was prescribed a cream to treat X medical problem. My guesses as to the reason of the problem were shrugged off. Also, he doesn't measure fundal height, but marks it/estimates in my chart which worries me. The ultrasound conducted by him was hurried and we could hardly see anything at all- thought he marked everything as "seen" and told me the baby was measuring 1 1/2 weeks ahead, he also couldn't consistently point out which was an arm and which was a leg.There were many issues that I had, but I kept quiet because I liked his odd sense of humor and his office staff is fantastic. The office is clean and the… nurse, Mary, is super friendly and helpful. I just felt like any concerns I had were totally brushed off, and I wasn't listened to at all. So if you're having a flawless pregnancy with no concerns or issues, or if you don't mind being talked down to despite already having experience and knowledge about the topic, go see him, he's great.

Great Ob to have! I havent had a docotr like him that cared so much about his patients. He was great with all my questions even if they sounded dumb.
