Dr. Stephen Robert Wells, MD

If I could give 6 stars for every category I would. Everyone that works in this office, from medical assistants to receptionists to Nurse Practitioners to Doctor Wells himself, has wonderful people skills, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful in every way. I can't say enough good things. I have been going to Dr Wells for almost 20 years. He delivered both my babies and I just love him and all his staff.

Not very good bedside manner and didn't validate my concerns. At 34 weeks pregnant, It's not a good time to start discounting your patients fears and needs with a condescending attitude. His midwife on staff, Sonja is excellent!

I recommend Dr. Wells to all of my friends and family--he is the most thoughtful, caring doctor I've ever met! He always makes you feel important and takes the time to make sure all of your questions are answered. Great, helpful staff too!

After quite a few miscarriages, Dr. Wells diagnosed me witth a rare condition and referred me to the only doctor in the US who was doing research in that field. My husband and I went to see him and after 8 months of co-treatment (Dr. Wells & Dr. Beer), we got pregnant with our first child. 12 months later we got pregnant with our second baby! Dr. Wells has been a blessing in our lives!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wells for 10 years. He has been with me through three miscarriages and the births of both my chidlren. He is very caring and a good physician. However his office staff is dropping the ball somehwere? I have called three times for an annual and NEVER have gotten a call back. Huh? I guess it's time to find a new doctor. Too bad I really like him.

He's a great doctor. BUTExpect to wait a LONG time in the waiting room. They consistently run 30-45 minutes late. It really sucks because he and his staff are really great.Plus, the NPs and Dr. Wells all have very small hands.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wells for eight years. He delivered my 3rd child, cared for me after a horrible accident in my home which resultedin a miscarraige, and performed my hysterectomy and aided in the bladder reconstruction. He is truley the best doctor, surgeon and person. I have been blessed to have him as my doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Wells for over 12 years through 1 easy birth, 2 miscarriages, a high risk birth, a breast biopsy and endimetral ablation. He is on the cutting edge of technology and has the best bedside manner of any Dr. I have ever had. So much so that I use him for my yearly physicals.The wait time can often be stifling but keep in mind that's the nature of the practice. There are times when he has had to clear his schedule because of a medical emergency on my part so I try to be patient when I have to wait. Yes I have had appointments canceled on me but then again he has always been at my and my husband's side during some of our darkest moments and even came for a my son's birth during his scheduled "off time" because he had the time. Not many doctors would do that.The NP's are also fantastic.You'd be hard pressed to find a better OBGYN.

I went to him cause I wanted to have a VBAC and my last dr said they were so terrible and mothers and babies die. He was VERY supportive and did the best job helping me achieve my goal. He is easy to talk to and the staff is great. I hope to have another baby and can't wait to go through the process with him again!
