Dr. Steve Nelson Flinkenstein, DO

Dr Flinkenstein is a wonderful Dr. he's caring, thorough and he listens, responds to your concerns and questions. He recommends advice, treatments and medications, but lets you be part of your treatments and doesn't push it on you. I am truly sorry that he isn't at my clinic anymore. In fact, it looks like he's not even in my state.

Dr. Flinkensten was a great and Smart Doctor who knew what he was doing and really cared about his patients, Im so upset that Wellstar let him go he did his job and was great at doing it, now im left trying to find another Doctor which I haven't yet because they are heartless and can care less, Im about to loose my job because no one will fill out FMLA papers for me because im sick and in pain all the time, Im 44 and look 30 and im not ugly and run down so they don't want to help me in any way. Its sad but you can't do good people wrong.....I MISS YOU DR. Flinkenstein

Though I was not a Patient of Dr Flinkenstein very long , he provided Great care and spent a lot of time with me . He also did not shy away from telling me that my issue would be a lot better if I lost 30 lbs and had an exercise regime . I miss having him as my Dr as well as his insight. I would drive a long distance and wait to get in to see him if I could. Special thanks to Wellstar for robbing this area of a Great Doctor.

Model PhysicianDr. Flinkenstein is a model physician; what do I mean by that?!? He is a physician who has all of the qualities that all physicians to model their doctor/patient relationship from. In many conversations that I have had with people through the years in various states, and countries, Dr. Flinkenstein, with ease, and what appears to be second nature provides all around top quality care.Whatever a persons need when communicating with a person; they hope they will be listened to attentively, and that the non-verbal expressions they observe from that person, make them feel comfortable enough to continue, knowing they can trust him to diagnose, treat, cure, and or offer a good referral to the appropriate physician.I dont know what transpired; or what aided the individual or individuals in making the decision to close his office, but it was a great disservice to his patients, future patients, Well Star, and the excellence they strive for and attain. Matter of fact I offered… to help him locate another office or facility, volunteer or work in his future location, as well as contacting me wit is new local location. Unfortunately, none of those things were options he could accept but he was appreciative.One day maybe merit, quality, and great customer service will be qualities an establishment, agency, or organization will place above money.

I've been seeing Dr. Flinkenstein for about a year. Once you get the initial appointment, it's easy to get follow up appointments. He's outstanding and his staff is wonderful also. You'll never feel rushed as he listens to you.
