6 minutes ago I have seen Dr Fordan and Dr Foster for 9 months after being in DKA in ICU battling for my life. They have been a life saver & I am extremely grateful for their exceptional medical care. They are knowledgeable, professional, Super Helpful, and very caring with all their patients. They changed out my insulin several times and now I’m on humalog vía an insulin pump and on inhalable insulin as well. They are currently helping me with other diabetes complications as well. They helped me get my life back to normal and I even went back to work part time. And it’s all thanks to their superior medical care. Forever grateful to this medical office. - Virginia Loera

Dr Fordan is a Great doctor. Unfortunately, he is impossible to get a hold of. My pharmacy has been trying to contact him off and on for 6 months, through multiple phone lines, fax, and email. Now Medtronic, who sends my insulin pump supplies, is complaining to me that they can't reach him either. I'm forced to find another endocrinologist or wait until next month's appointment to get supplies for my insulin pump. I have gone and seen a Care Now for insulin prescriptions in the past when the pharmacy couldn't reach him.

The Doctor is nice. I chose to go to him because he was in the Dmagazine of recommendations for a endocrinologist. Here is the reason I am giving a 1 star. When you call most of the time no one picks up. I have called 2 days in a row to get my results had to leave messages. I am still waiting to hear from the office. This is not a way to run a professional office. I hope the Doctor sees this and has a talk with the person in charge of the manager that runs his office.

The only reason I came to this doctor was because my previous endocrinologist of 4 1/2 years stopped taking humana gold plus. I hated that as I have lupus and other autoimmune diseases. She always had to tweet my thyroid medicine constantly therefore she'd do labs every 4 weeks to recheck my levels. I saw Dr Fordan once, the other 2 times was with the nurse practitioner. My level went up to a 14 under his care which was by far the highest ever, my meds went from 150 to 175. My next appt wasn't until about 3 months which is unacceptable. I've never seen an office where the bedside manner stinks, you usually have to wait on a nurse for days to return a phone call. I've been told conflicting things, even called basically a liar despite between the physician assistant, nurse, and office staff, they aren't organized and forget who said what. My questions were not addressed I feel properly. I dint feel that my health was important here. It's s shame my other specialists do labs for other… things, notice my tsh, t3 & t4 is out of whack and they make adjustments. I'm now seeing a endocrinologist afflicted with Baylor that was highly recommended and she's awesom. She represents everything I experienced with my first endocrinologist and then some. My healthcare plan was/is of importance to her. I will never refer dr. Forgan to anybody.

Staff would not schedule an appointment for me to see Dr. Steve Fordan. Staff member and office manager used a lot office medical ling. I did not understand there medical lingo. But, the office requires an office referral to schedule an appointment. I asked if it was for insurance purposes. Staff and Office Manger said no it was not for insurance purposes. Office Manager said it was an office policy.

I waited almost two hours, and when I said I had waited as long as I could, and had to leave, nobody seemed to care---no apology, etc. When I went to tell them , he was sitting at a computer, apparently telling a "new" employee how to use the computer. He should train them after hours--not when patients are waiting. If possible, I will be looking for another doctor.

I haave been seeing Dr Fordan for a couple of years now. My first couple of visits were strained because I was already nervous about my diagnosis and Dr Fordan did seem a bit too professional for my taste. But after speaking to his staff, which I find most helpful and very sweet my relationship with Dr Fordan became much more comfortable. I now find him very funny and helpful and he always ask about how my treatmentrs are going and what I ma doing and directs me in the right directions to help me meet my goals. Recently he hired a office manager though and I find her rude and a little arrogant. I have expressed my feeling about her to the rest of the staff and they advised I should speak to Dr Fordan.

Dr. Fordan is a young doctor who caters more to the pharmecutical companies than to his patients. Most patients are retirees, so the front desk has no care for time (meaning most days they run about 45 minutes behind). He's nice enough, but there's no personal connection. His patients have chronic conditions that can be managed...but he would have to care enough to help us do it. I decided to look for a new doctor.
