Dr. Steve Lebhar, MD

I feel this is important to tell everyone of my experience with Dr Lebhar.. My first first wife who has passed away was so overjoyed with Dr Lebhar , he was understanding, patient explained in detail her problem and how he could help, very upfront and honest....My current wife Shirley the same thing, just so happy that Dr Lebhar is her physician, although her situation is more involved, she is a doer always and Dr, Lebhar 's demeaner , knowledge, character and interest in her situation was very calming for her.

Feel so blessed to have found this cardiologist. Professional and competent. Listens, explains and cares.

Steven performed a nuclear stress test, was very professional, and treated me like a good friend

Went to Dr Lebhar with a heavy chest syndrome & he first did a stress test which came out fine. He still wanted to know what was causing the pressure on my chest. He then ordered an echocardiogram which revealed an ascending aortic aneurysm . He immediately sent me to radiology for CT scan of my chest & set up an appointment at The Cleveland Clinic with a top thoracic heart surgeon Dr. Cedric Sheffield who performed open hear surgery. I can’t thank them both enough for saving my life.

I have recently started seeing Dr. Lebhar for problems with my atrial fibrillation meds and feelings of general weakness. Within two weeks he had my medicine problems adjusted and my weakness was much better. I am continuing to feel stronger every week and I have complete confidence in Dr. Lebhar. He is a very caring doctor who has been my daughter's Cardiologist for many years and takes excellent care of her. We feel very blessed to have him as our doctor. His office manager, Barb, is excellent and is always pleasant and makes you feel at ease. I would recommend Dr. Lebhar to anyone needing a knowledgeable, professional Cardiologist. Deanna Register

My husband Gene has been a patient of Dr.Lebhar for a few years!!!! about 4 months ago ,about a year after m husband half knee replacement went to see him again to ok another possible surgery ,as a result of Dr.Lebhar findings, he would not ok anykind of surgeries!!!!he recommended a super star heart surgeon at cleveland clinic in Weston fla.they have worked togther many times!!! we were very impressed with Dr.Cedric Sheffield and decided thanks to Steve Lebhar to have him do the very big heart surgery !!!! fast forward,i can say that after a very long stay at cleveland clinic due to his findings ,we were there one month !!! he is now doing cardiac rehab again thanks to Dr.Lehbar continuous care!!!! i can only say that because of his insisting we use this surgeon,his life has been spared!!!! we would not use any other cardiologist anywhere!!! , he is a caring person who takes time with his patients , he takes time to explain everything but also tells it like it is!!!!no nonsense... we… can only say that without him Gene would not have survived!!!!by the way his wonderful nurse Barbara is also a super star!!!! in passing ,my husband is 82. he truly believe that this surgeon would have been the only one to perform the major surgery!!!so Dr.Lehbar... thank you. thank you .Dr.Lehbar.Christine Simonetti

I am a 46-year-old school teacher here in Naples. Transplant from New York where I was born and raised and finished my studies then graduate school. I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation when I was 18 years old and have seen many different cardiologists, and cardiac electrophysiologists throughout New York, Florida and California. None of them even come close to the amazing care, expertise, consideration, professionalism, and personality of Dr. Steve Lebhar. When I think back 11 years ago, I remembered asking some colleagues, friends and doing quite a bit of research on local cardiologist's in Naples and found all fingers pointing me in Dr. Lebhar's direction. I have been treated by Dr. Lebhar since 2008 for intermittent bouts of Atrial Fibrillation. I have had two ablations in the past by a different cardiologist and have seen Dr. Lebhar ever since. Dr. Lebhar does what no other cardiologist does and in my humble opinion, does what no other Dr. does (period) - He actually… cares!!! It is written all over his face and exhibited in not only his words but also his actions. Never once have I ever felt like I was being rushed or not cared for. I know full well that if I ever need other surgical intervention for my Atrial Fibrillation, that Dr. Lebhar will continue to care for me and set me up with the best heart surgeon possible. Dr. Lebhar is always so great at delivering the facts but at the same time helps to keep you calm and makes you feel comfortable. The heart is the most vial organ in the body and when you are having an issue with this organ or are diagnosed with an ailment or disease related to your heart it can be very stressful and can cause you to be sad or anxious. We only have one heart and we have to keep it working the best way possible, with all things considered. With that being said, we also only have one Dr. Lebhar and we have to keep him around forever! He is and will be my cardiologist for life!! Thank you Dr. Lebhar, Barbara and your team for the continued amazing care and support you have not only provided me, but have provided to the rest of the people you treat! I couldn’t be more pleased after having seen Dr Lebhar this week for the first time. When I called his office and explained the problem to Barbara, she was very professional and helpful. Then I was seen promptly by Dr. Lebhar who listened to my description of symptoms, examined me and formulated a plan to further evaluate the problem. That evaluation was completed rapidly and efficiently, and Dr Lebhar took the time necessary to listen and explain. And all during that time, there was no feeling of being rushed. Dr. Lebhar is a knowledgeable, professional and caring physician who I would recommend highly to anyone seeking a skilled cardiologist.

Dr. Lebhar was recommended to me by a long time professional doctor in town. Dr. Lebhar has been overseeing my cardio health care for a good number of years. I have always been impressed with his work ethics, manner of treatment and his personality. His office RN/assistant is beyond reproach. You get that easy comfortable feeling and not like you're just a number to them; they genuinely care about YOU as a person and a patient. Anytime I have needed immediate attention, I have gotten an appointment rather quickly. I feel with dealings with the major organ of your body, you can't mess around and drag things out!
