Dr. STEVE LOOYSEN, OD is a BOARD CERTIFIED OPTOMETRISTDr. Steve Looysen grew up in Carrington and graduated from High School there. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Premedicine with honors at North Dakota State University and was a Distinguished Military Graduate in the ROTC program. Dr. Looysen then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Science and a Doctor of Optometry Degree with honors from Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Looysen is a certified therapeutic optometrist and enjoys treating all kinds of ocular disease including Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration. He completed internship rotations in ocular disease, glaucoma, neurology, pediatrics, specialty contact lens, general optometry and retinal disease. He served as the Army’s Shooting Team Eye Doctor and has extensive experience in shooting sports.
