Dr. Steve Slava Oberemok, MD

I had a scheduled appointment on Friday 10-3-25 to have a procedure for my skin. Their office called me on Wednesday10-1-25 to say they need to check on my insurance for the procedure and may have to cancel Friday if they don’t get approval. I told her this is very unprofessional. I had the appointment for a month and you wait two days before the appointment to check this procedure with insurance? Then this morning Thursday, Gabby calls me doesn’t know what she’s doing. Starts to confirm the appointment then says oh no we have to cancel because we didn’t get confirmation. I start to explain to her how inconvenient and unprofessional this is to me the patient. Gabby starts racing in her voice telling me I was told they might have to call me back…. I called her back told her Dr. Oberman just lost a patient over this, and I told Gabby you do not talk down to patients like this, who do you think you are? I’m gonna find another dermatologist. I’m not gonna put up with staff like this.Gabby… is just too, Gabby with her mouth and she just cost Dr. Obermark a patient And as I see now there’s a lot of terrible reviews on this office

Worst doctor's visit ever. He didn't even try to find the squamous cell carcinoma sites I have. No light, never closer than six-eight feet from me. Found nothing - how could he have?!!

Doctor and his staff were professional. The procedure went great, was sensitive and concerned should I feel anything. And when I did he took care to numb me quickly. Very happy. The other fool, a P.A. at another facility 8 months before attempted to freeze this pre-cancer and failed! My 6 Month check discovered this spot turned to cancer. I will be a patient for life

Never had doctor withdraw service before, after making thousands of dollars and many horribly long incisions my new doctors cannot believe. He is only out for the money!! Did not even wish me well, but a blessing in disguise because he showed his true colors and I have found wonderful doctor, a true professional who is superior in every way! My new doc has seen other patients with horrible scars from Steve Obermok. And the staff lied about sending records to my new doc. They eventually sent, but not in time for my first appointment, although they said they said they had received a fax confirmation. A big lie. I always wondered if some of the paces were really cancer, so I had biopsies done elsewhere and they were not. RUN from this doc if you want a doctor who cares about you, not just making money! I am spreading the word about my experience. I give 0 stars!!!

Initially I had no problem with him or the office staff. However, I shortly realized he gives false hope for something he can't fix. His exact words,"I'm 99.9% positive that your scar is psoriasis. I knew it wasn't, but I wanted to trust him and figured that even though it might not be psoriasis this doctor was going to have a solution for the problem. Well as you might guess he referred me elsewhere and continued billing my insurance and myself a total of $90 for three 5 minute worthless appointments with him. Now his staff is another story. I liked he saw me with no waiting. He took care of my benign spots on arm. He was not concerned with me coming back for one year, less than 6 months now I need to get more spots looked at and have other issues, but will not go back. I need a more caring doctor. He was not concerned with my other personal issue of cancer.

Made an appoinment to be seen by Dr. Oberemok but was seen with his assistant instead. Dr. Oberemok didn't even bothered to show up.. In my opinion, it is disrespect to his patients that are seeking a professional help. Very disappointing. Not recommended!

My overall interaction with Dr. O has all been excellent. He is very knowledgeable and caring, I do appreciate his staff as well. Always willing to help and take that extra step.
