Dr. Steve Paschos, MD

A loved one of mine has had several appointments with Dr. Paschos through CBH. Overall he seems knowledgeable but he reschedules frequently and is consistently late and disorganized when we do meet. He doesn't acknowledge or apologize for his tardiness and our flexibility. Appointments are rushed. Doesn't seem like cares as he needs reminding about the specifics of our case from appointment to appointment. He gets defensive when you call such things to his attention. Not good.

One of the worst doctors I ever had the misfortune of being stuck with. Arrogant and forceful when it came to meds for my specific situation.

Ive seen Dr. Paschos more then a few times now and everytime he has been excellent! My first incounter with him was at Chicago Behavioral Health. Being in the hospital is depressing period but everyday I was in there Dr. Paschos had seen me everyday well I was his patient. He had excellent bedisde manner, always had his cell phone off well in session, genuinlly cares about giving the proper diagnosis, listens to my needs, shows up at a good hour and is extreamly reasurring! He was so excellent I looked him up for aftercare. I read one comment a person stated " She was ONLY a friend of a patient in Chicago Behavioral Health and heard that Dr. Paschos had seen patients at midnight" thats slander! As I said I wasn patient there never has any Doctor showed up after 7:00p.m.! Dr. Paschos was one of the best doctors and I was blessed to have a doctor like him. When I left the hospital from under his care I was completley a diffrent person! I came in depressed, bordering suicide and severe… anxiety. Dr. Paschos put me on the right medications and listened to what I had to say and made a great educated decisions on my health.

Great doctor with amazing bedside manner!Time was not an issue with Dr. Paschos(most Dr.'s kick you out as fast as you came in) Highly recommended

He also practices psychiatry at Chicago Behavior Hospital in Des Plaines. He is the psychiatrist for a friend who is currently there. As a professional myself, that hospital is another story. It is horrible. This doctor comes to see his patients about midnight there, the whole time he was conducting his initial eval for my friend, he was on the phone texting and/or voice with his wife and other people.
