Great Doctor! He holds you accountable. I would not go to him if you are not ready to change. He is not for the soft. He provides solutions.

Excellent physician. Understands detox and how to properly do it. Understands recovery and what needs to be done.

I’ve known Dr. Scanlan for almost a decade. He’s the only psychiatrist I’ve ever known that’s actually taken the time to sit with me and get to know me as a person. He has treated members of my family as well and I trust him with my life. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist that you can trust and that actually cares about you getting better, Dr. Scanlan is your guy. If I could give him 6 stars I would.

He knows how to safely get patients off of alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines.. then treats the reason why they self medicated in the first place. He takes a personalized and private approach.

I have strong family history of addiction and alcoholism. My son and I have tried to slow down/stop on our own, but being in a highly competitive business, we both have a lot of stress and couldn't stop working. Dr. Scanlan has saved my family and our business! He's the only doctor I know that will give out his cell phone number. He personally followed us through the entire detox process. He also led us to a great therapist that has helped us work through a lot of family issues, as well as started us in a 12-step program. I'm finally getting my life back, and I can't recommend him enough!
