Dr. Steve Ray Timms, MD

Dr Timms has been my doctor for over a decade. Even after all this time, he takes the time to listen to me, more importantly he hears you. He is the type of doctor that used to be, but is rare these days. I trust him with my life, and my health.

I seen Doctor Timms in the late 90's and early 2000'sat Martins Ferry.His Treatment , Concern , Study into every aspect of my condition as well as his consideration in the time he took for me was very appreciated .He ordered up procedures dertermined to find the problem and any possible solution to help my gratitude goes far to him.Doctors like him are hard to find these days.Before moving he even took time to make sure I had continued care in his absence.

I have been a patient of this doctor for 2 years now and have only stayed with him this long due to his wonderful staff at OVMC. His nurse and receptionist always made my visits better and were very caring, even when Timms would forget my information and make me feel like just another number, not a person. Because of his wonderful staff I made the switch to Wheeling Hospital with Dr Timms. Unfortunately his receptionist and nurse did not stay with him, for whatever reason. And it shows because Now he is even worse. He tries to rush through appointments, lets people sit and wait for over an hour in an exam room or just doesn't show up at all. His nurse has twice not been able to find him within the hospital when I have been there. Changing neurologists as soon as possible!

Dr. Timms is a caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable doctor. He has helped me so much with my migraines. His staff is friendly and very courteous.

I saw Dr. Timms for various neurological symptoms I had been experiencing. he was rude from the second he walked through the door and didn't even care to hear what I had to say! the only" test" he did was watch me walk up the hall and he didn't explain why. he acted annoyed that I was there. I have NEVER" been so disrespected and talked down to like he did in my entire life. I would never recommend him to anybody. horrible bedside manner.

Dr. Timms takes excellent care of me. He is very kind, caring and compassionate.

This physician is rude, condescending, dismissive and haughty. he caused me undo pain by his unwillingness to listen to me before starting the procedure. He explained nothing. He touched me before asking if he could and began the procedure without proper information. This doctor has violated my patient rights in his inappropriate actions. He does not reflect well on any hospital he is allowed to practice under. He should be ashamed.

Waited 1 1/2 hrs to be told that Dr. Timms had something, non emergency, to do and left at 9:30 a.m., my scheduled appointment time! Will be rescheduling with a different Dr. if possible.
