Dr. Steven Soheil Agabegi, MD

Dr Agabegi did a microdiscectomy on me, I had immediate relief from the pain, numbness and tingling i had been experiencing in my legs for over 5 months. The whole process from first being assessed by him to the operation was around a month, which included a spinal injection as a first step. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, my wife was impressed by his post surgery explanations and his office staff are also exceptionally pleasant. I am recommending him to other people who are suffering with constant back pain as I was.

He was my back surgeon. He was always available after the surgery. Could not ask for a better Dr. Would recommend him to anyone.

iSuperior surgeon who did my wifeâ??s back surgery and she is doing wonderfully. He is very clear in explaining the problem and how he will fix it. We appreciated this very much. A quiet man, but professional at all times. There is definitely a need for improvement in the office efficiency, wait time etc., and at first visit we were put off by the wait time but after meeting him we realized he would be the one doing her surgery and after that we did not mind the wait. He is humble, every ache and pain she had on postop visits he addressed with the utmost care and compassion. I never write reviews like this but feel compelled to do so as Dr. Agabegi has changed my wifeâ??s life so dramatically and we both want people out there who may be suffering with severe disability because of back problems to know this is a great surgeon you can trust to turn to for help. He is specialist in handling very complex back issues that other surgeons don't treat, my wife was bent over at the… waist, had 2 previous back surgeries many years ago and Dr. Agabegi removed bottom bars and then put in top and bottom bars (or rods) and had to break her bones to realign her back so she could stand straight. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their recovery. I also recommend not going to the Clifton office to see him, he sees patients in other locations and it is far easier in terms of parking, access, getting xrays etc.

I would not recommend Dr. Steven Agabeig accurate diagnosis ONE STAR (not sure he as an idea of what he doing) .... promptness NO STAR had to wait way to long..... bedside manner NO STAR I ? his diagnosis and he told me to go get a 2nd opinion

Dr Agabegi is a very good physician! He took the time out for all my questions and answered all of them. I suffered from a fractured spine and neck and he was amazing in the hospital and outside at follow up appointments. I never had a wait longer than 10 minutes to see him and never felt rushed out the door. He explained everything in ways that my husband and I could both understand and also made sure we did understand. Dr Agabegi is very compassionate, caring, and would do anything to try to help you to the best of his availability. I have recommended him for years because of these qualities. It wasn't until recent that I suffered from an accident that I had to also be the patient. He goes above and beyond to make sure that his patients are being taken care of first hand. He always listened to my concerns and never dismissed them. I was always a part of my care and the decisions.

He has been and continues to be a great Doctor.. He recognizes my pain and has gone above and beyond to help me, as has his staff.

Hes not only a good back surgeon but hes a good all around surgeon. I broke my ankle and had to have surgery and I called several different doctors who wouldn't take me. Dr Agabegi took me no questions asked and my surgery went great and had a great experience with his staff. I would definitely recommend him for anybody that needs help hes a great guy and Dr.
