Dr. Steven R Aylard, DDS

Dr. Aylard worked her way through college and dental school as a vocational nurse. She attended UCLA as an undergraduate and graduated from UCLA Dental School in 1985. She then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Los Angeles. She practiced in Los Angeles four years before relocating to the Napa Valley in 1989.
Dr. Aylard is dedicated to continuing education and has earned Fellow status in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.). She completes 75-100 hours of continuing education credits per year (50 units/2 years is the state requirement). She has completed an 18 month program in Gnathology and Occlusion (dental rehabilitation), and continues to hone her skills in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry by taking hands on courses with world renowned Esthetic Dentists, and Ceramists. Her continued growth allows her to provide the best possible care for her patients' dental needs and dreams. Patients' mouths are not just "rehabilitated" but …rejuvenated. Dr. Aylard is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. She serves on the board of the local Dental Society. Community Health is a special interest of Dr. Aylard. She has worked with the local Dental Society and the Napa Valley Unified School System to deliver dental services to underprivileged children.
Dr. Aylard is an avid runner and has participated in local and state marathons. She enjoys spending time with her two children, Allison and Michael, and her husband, Steve who is also a Dentist, specializing in Pediatric Dentistry.
