After receiving a bachelor’s degree from Stanford, he spent several years teaching high school biology, geometry and sculpture. He also coached football.
Dr. Ballinger is excited to be living in Oregon. He and his wife Laurel have three grown children. In his free time, he likes to make wood furniture, play guitar, paint pictures and garden. He is fluent in Spanish.
