Dr. Steven Joseph Beer, MD

Doctor Beer was straight forward about my lower back and didn’t sugar coat it. He told me what we should do and his staff were very understanding. Great people for being my 1st appointment with them

This has been one of the absolute worst doctors I have met in my life. His patients are not his first priority. Sadly, you would tell Dr Beer your med history, then you get stuck with a PA because Beer wouldn't see you. You would AGAIN have to tell your extensive history, then another visit, yet AGAIN need to tell your history. No one cared enough to put this important info in the computer. And you would be waiting hours upon hours for him to show up for appointments. We should have learned from the first time, he doesn't care enough to show up on time for apppintments. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone

I fell and broke my back and thanks to Dr. Beer and his great staff they were able to operated and fix my broken "small" bones. Six months later my back is mending great and he has released me from treatment. I am doing almost everything I used to do except standing on a chair to clean the top of the refrigerator and falling off. If you want excellent care, go to Dr. Beer.

Been to Many Doctors for 3 plus years trying to find out why my back and leg was hurting. Waisted so much time and money. I want to Thank Dr Beer and his staff for everything they’ve done for me. Finally a Surgeon that knew what was wrong and has helped to give my life back. Thank you All so much!

Not bad so far as skill with adequate results, wouldn't mind going to him again. But his bedside manner is atrocious at best! I've been a patient there for years. He never got any better. Too bad his former partner left. That guy was AMAZING! I heard he's in Arizona, or something?!

Unnecessary testing won't return calls long waits seems like a nice dr but not

No, he rarely runs on time for appointments. Yes, he is overbooked most of the time and late. However, he did an excellent job with my spine surgery and I am finally pain free thanks to him. He is thorough, and though he is so busy, takes the time to answer questions and help you understand. My surgery required him to work with other doctors and he always made sure I was getting the best care from each one.

As for the patients who have negative remarks maybe they should go into the VA system end experience neglect and refusal ot care. Dr Beer is exceptional and has done more for me in one year that the va in 16 year for svc connected injuries. For those of you who cannot appreciate Dr, Beer need to go into the VA system. But for the complainers who have negative to say are probally the whiners . I consider Dr, Beer a God send and if your not rude or take your pain out on him he is very pleasant and takes the time required and goes out of his way to address and treat spine injures and neck injuries. I praise him and none of the staff appreciate the whiners who take out their pain on others . Im thankful for the care given,. Rude comments about this exceptional surgeon only indicate that you are rude to him and his staff.

Needs to improve on time managment

I have been seeing Dr. Beer for almost two years now. Yes his office is very busy and the reason is he is a great doctor. Not one time has he ever not sit down and explained what he found and how to fix it and then answer every question I had. I could not refer a better doctor.
