I saw Dr. Bernard first because one of my existing implants ruptured. I could not afford to have new ones put in so I had them removed and a lift that ended terribly. They turned out completely squared at the base and uneven. decided a year and a half later to get new implants. It was at that consult he told me I can file a claim due to the rupture. Information that would have been helpful initially. After another $7000 I had surgery. Dr. Bernard gave the EXACT opposite implants from what I requested during pre surgery visit. On top of that, I got confirmation via Mammogram, that my implants are prepectoral. Dr. Bernard lied to my face insisting they were placed under the muscle at my follow-up appointment. I asked for low profile 250 and received high profile 240. I look ridiculous and I am so disgusted with Dr Bernard. He told me he would revise, and I would only have to pay for anesthesia, however not one person could tell me how much that would be. I would NEVER… recommend Dr Bernard to anyone. I was totally robbed by Cleveland Clinic!!!

Dr. Steven Bernard is a nice doctor and person. He is a professional. I have had a positive experience with him.

Bernard agreed to make me flat in consult (after the surgical onc removed the breasts, Bernard was to do a "smooth, flat" closure). Then while i was lying on the OR table I heard him say, " I'll just leave a little extra in case you change your mind." I said, "NO make it flat," conked out, woke up to pockets for implants. No attempt to make it flat. He then lied about it, claiming it would "tighten up." No, it never did. This is malpractice. Not acceptable. I am a breast cancer patient that had 1 mastectomy at age 35 & after i found out i had brca1 so im getting ready for my next mastectomy. Having physically gone through it once i can relate. And i wanna make it known the woman who is attempting to destroy an amazing Dr's & surgeon's reputation & career so she can get $ & suing him like shes cashing in a lottery ticket disgusts me. She's lying & i say this matter of factly bc i went thru. what she did. I didn't want it flat but it has to b & alwys is unless immediate reconstruction is done & thats rare. She was flat with a scar that is at 1st rising up slightly. My skin was extremely tight & flat aside from the scar. She should ne arrested for wasting news time, court room time & every employee dealing with her get rich quick scheme. The judge should b appalled that such an obvious frivolous lawsuit was brought into his courtroom & humiliated that it was even assigned to him or any judge. Dr Bernard I will testify on your behalf you… are an amazing Dr that has impacted women's lives making them confident again & showing you care about your patients inside & out. Cleveland Clinic do not give that lowlife woman a penny!!!!!

I have an appointment For a devastating skn condition that has rendered me with agoraphobia...I'm so hopeful....

I went to Dr. Bernard to have a rather large lipoma removed from my neck and shoulder area. It could not have gone any better! Within a week, I was back out on the golf course, there was minimal scarring (it looks like my cat scratched me), and barely any pain. The post-op checkup was a breeze. I can not thank Dr. Bernard and his team for getting me back to normal and good health so quick!

Dr. Bernard had done two surgeries on our son's hands. He has an excellent bedside manner - is very caring and compassionate and always gives you time to ask questions at the end of each appointment. He never acts rushed and makes you feel like his only patient:) He is also an excellent surgeon and after three other surgeon said they could not operate "Dr Steve" did the operations and the results were fantastic!

Words cannot describe how awful my experience was with this man. He should never ever be dealing with breast cancer patients. On the day of my surgery, he started to mark up both of my breast. When I asked him what he was doing, he replied, "Aren't we removing both of them?" Talk about a confidence builder right before you are going under the knife! There is a happy ending to this story. I was able to find one of the best, most caring and compassionate plastic surgeons. My twins are so cute that his office staff made me take a pledge that I wouldn't flash them to strangers.
