Dr. Steven Joseph Bizzell

Dr. Bizzell graduated in 1992 from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine. He served as a resident in general dentistry at the U. of Louisville Hospital and at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Bizzell then received a commision to serve in the U.S. Public Health Service, practicing in NYC and achieving the rank of LT. Commander before pursuing specialty training in periodontics at the NY Manhattan VA Medical Center. In 2002 he received his certificate in periodontics and in 2008 he successfully passed the rigorous oral board examination to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Bizzell tries to treat periodontal problems conservatively, with minimal discomfort. He makes every effort to provide a calm and stress free environment for patients.
