Dr. Steven Bowley

Dr. Bowley is a nonchalant and an ambivalent doctor unconcerned about my overall health. I ran out of diabetes med and he flat out refuses to refill them without an appointment, that's his recurring theme if you need refills, my scheduled appt was 45 days later since he was booked. I came in for labs and he refused to take additonal labs for testosterone and I needed another visit for that, even I insisted it needed done asap. Unacceptable! Need a referral? Make sure you have a lengthy summary of why you need one if he doesn't have knowledge of the medical condition. The staff is non responsive as well and oftentimes just lazy. He only discusses one topic per visit so expect to return at his insistence if you have more medical needs. I had enough and went elsewhere.

After I was hit by a car on my bicycle, I visited Dr. Bowley on crutches with a badly sprained ankle. He seemed bored with my case and bothered that I continued to follow up with him. He told me to increase activity, begin using my foot to walk and exercise. “God, or whoever you believe in, will take care of it!” Needless to say, I sought a second opinion and after and MRI, we found that my ankle was actually FRACTURED. Bowley’s instructions would’ve caused my fracture to become displaced. Some appreciated his being “old school” but as for me, I’d rather my doctor use all the recourses available in our times, practice precaution, and be courteous. Nobody should be under the care of this doctor.

I just made it home after a busy day, the high point was my visit to Dr. Steven Jon Bowley, MD! I find him so knowledgeable that he gives his expertise effortlessly and easily. He had cleared up no less than five different issues. I find him awesome for such a young man!

I wouldn't recommend Steven Bowley to my worst enemy. He is extremely old school and believes more in prescribing medication than other more homeopathic remedies. He is extremely close-minded and his bedside manner is horribly offensive. His medical assistants are also extremely rude and entitled. Never going back

DR. BOWLEY IS BY FAR THE MOST EFFICIENT AND EFFECTUAL DOCTOR I HAVE HAD IN MY SEVENTY FIVE YEARS OF LIFE. WITHOUT HIM, I WOULD BE DEAD. JIM DIEZ

Dislike the front desk Staff very rude when you call in and rude not friendly in person the lady who usually sits at the far left front desk very RUDE she needs to go to another job that doesnt require a good attitude and smiles

I've been seeing Dr. Bowley for 17 years and recommend him to everyone I know looking for a new PCP. The Banner Health staff that run the office are definitely in need of massive amounts of training or possibly replacement by people that actually pay attention and perform the duties and responsibilities that go along with their positions, but that is neither here nor there. Both Dr. Bowley and Angie have a fantastically dry wit and make going to the doctor a more pleasant and entertaining experience. I also really appreciate how direct he is with diagnoses and treatment plans.

Dr. Bowley spends very little time time asking my caretaker any questions. I have a very rare genitourinary diesiese requiring help from neibor. My speach & steadiness on my feet is very limited. Dr.only performs what insurance tells him to. And doesn't address any concerns of mine.Never asks is there Anything else he can do? Very dissatisfied and am looking for different primary care Dr.

This was the first time I went to see Dr. Bowley. I had a couple of different problems to talk to him about. When he came in the office he didn't even want to know anything about me, again this was my first visit. He told me that he didn't have the time to talk about what I needed to talk to him about and I had to pick just the most important one because that is all the time he had. I also needed a referral and he told me I had to come back for that because he didn't look at the problem to just give me a referral. I just needed one for my cataract for my eye doctor. I told his nurse he wasn't an eye doctor an why did I have to come back just for the referral. it seems like he just wanted to charge my insurance for more money. I never had a problem with EVER getting a referral from any doctor I have ever been to. He is the reason why insurance costs are so high, doctors trying to get a new car..
