Dr. Steven Charles Bowman, MD

I haven't had a visit. I've seen him in an Independent living facility attached to an ALF. I called his office this morning and was told I wasn't allowed to find out if he was taking new patients or not. I was told that they couldn't tell me if they accepted my insurance or not. When I saw him at the Independent living facility, he asked me how I felt. I told him that my arm was still sore from my COVID and flu vaccinations. He grabbed my arm and told me that he didn't feel any lump or knot. That I was fine. He never took my blood pressure, my temperature or put a stethoscope on me to listen to my heart or lungs. I have COPD and Emphysema, and 4 stents in my arteries. You would think that he would have checked me out a little more thoroughly! And what really upsets me is, he billed Medicare or Medicaid for that "examination". I call that fraud! You decide.

Him and Hillary Morgan don't care if their patients have a medical problem or not. My thyroid levels are high and you can't get a hold of either of them. And when you call the office the staff is mean. They told me that I should go get another primary doctor if I want my thyroid meds to be up and hung up on me. And yesterday the office staff lie to me and told me they would get a hold of the doctor. All my medical problems right now are link to the thyroid but they don't care.

I HAVE GONE TO BRANDON OFFICE ON PARSONS FOR YEARS NOW, I HAVE NEVER SEEN A DR. IN OFFICE AND HAVE NEVER HAD AN APT WITH HIM. WHERE IS THIS DR? ONLY PEOPLE THERE ARE RUDE STAFF AND AN INCOMPETENT NURSE ( HILLARY MORGAN) I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS BUT NEED TO LEAVE THIS ONE. MY INSURANCE HAS BEEN PAYING FOR A DRs VISIT, TO SEE A DR….. WHERE IS HE??? SOMTHING IS AFOOT HERE!! BEWARE!!

I saw Dr, Bowman for many years; throughout that, he completely ignored or downplayed my growing creatinine blood levels. That was a warning sign of my growing kidney failure, and he NEVER said a word about it!!!!! He did something equally bad with my wife. The net result for me was significant PREVENTABLE kidney damage!

Like some other reviews we moved almost six years ago and have been through 3 different doctors since...really miss Dr Bowman. Someone in these reviews said the same thing and mentioned that all there are now are groups and they only treat by the guidelines of the group and make you go for unnecessary procedures and testing because they get commission..No more quality but quantity in the medical profession

There was a review I just read that said Dr Bowman is the best Doctor she ever had...moved away and now is having a hard time finding one to take his place...Well I have the same story...we moved away 5 years ago and have been through 3 Doctors since. No replacement since we moved and now all there's is are groups which I never liked...I believe these Doctors have to perform according to the group's guidelines and they probably get some sort of commission if they send you for all kinds of testing in their establishment..Medicine is not the same anymore and he is from the OLDschool..(sorry Dr Bowman). Really miss him and my Cardiologist.

I was a patient of Dr. Bowman for 17 years. He is absolutely the best Doctor I have ever had. He listens to you and spends however long it takes to explain everything to you. He is the only Doctor I could ever tell everything and anything to. I moved away and I have not been able to find a good Doctor like Dr. Bowman. He saw both my husband and I through some serious health issues and was always available for my phone calls. I love Dr. Bowman and highly recommend him. His office staff is also great. You will never find a better Doctor.....

I take care of my mother-in-law full time and she is one of Dr. Bowman's patients. She is old fashion and prefers on being examined by a woman and Sharon is the best. She is very attentive all of our concerns, her nurse Michelle is awesome! Michelle and Sue makes getting refills no problem. The ladies at the desk makes check-in and check-out a breeze! Oh and I can't forget the lab tech! My mother-in-law is a difficult stick but not for this young lady. This entire office has been a God send!
