Dr. Brizendine was born in Modesto, California, and raised in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He graduated from Andrews University High School and graduated, with honors, from Pacific Union College, achieving a B.S. degree in behavioral science. Dr. Brizendine earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and was accepted into Loma Linda's orthodontic residency program straight out of dental school. After receiving his Master of Science degree in orthodontics, Dr. Brizendine served his country with the United States Air Force. Dr. Brizendine was stationed at Travis Air Force Base, CA, for three years, working closely with oral surgeons, setting up surgery cases for orthognathic surgery at David Grant Medical Center. Dr. Brizendine has been practicing orthodontics and taking special interest in TMJ and surgical corrections for 23 years. He is Invisalign certified.
