Dr. Steven Andrew Brofsky

Extremely disappointed with my experience. My appointment was canceled just a day before, with no proper explanation. The dentist never communicated with me directly, instead relying on the nurse to relay messages. To make things worse, the nurse was rude and unhelpful. This lack of professionalism and respect for patients is unacceptable

My insurance was to cover everything but $399 of the $1700 procedure. They refused to perform the procedure unless the balance was paid in full before the procedure. I explained I only had $100 to give them as I was starting my new job in two days. I had an acceptance email welcoming me as a new employee but they disregarded my effort to show it to them. They recommended taking out a loan through a loan company of theirs who rejected my “good” 618 credit score! As a result I took a hit to my credit! I pleaded with them to please work with me as I was in extreme pain as I was badly in need of a root canal. They refused to consider my pain and my financial situation as they were only concerned with the money. The great thing about capitalism is bad businesses are free to fail if they don’t meet the needs of their clients!

After 8 years and a handful of root canals, I believe he’s an excellent Endodontist! Charlotte will miss him.

I HAD GONE TO ANOTHER DENTIST WHO DIDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME. I LEFT IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN AND THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE WHAT I HAD BEEN TAKING THAT DIDN'T HELP. I IMMEDIATELY LEFT AND SAW DR BROFSKY WHERE THEY FIT ME IN. THEY WERE SUPER KIND AND COMPASSIONATE AND NUMBED ME UNTIL THEY COULD DO MY ROOT CANAL THE NEXT MORNING. SO NICE, PERSONABLE, CARING, FRIENDLY, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE! THE STAFF AT NEW RIVER VALLEY ENDODONTICS IS AMAZING!

Dr Brofsky was a super pleasant gentleman. His office staff was very courteous and friendly! I would recommend them to everyone!

Caused bone loss after procedure now need tooth pulled and implant. Worse scenario possible.

Did some work when I did not need it. Talks to much about himself and did care for what I was in the need for.

Dr. Brofsky and his staff treated me like family. He was very gentle and kind. I did not even feel the injections. He was very informative about treatment and was comforting to someone who has dental anxiety. I would highly recommend this office for your root canal treatment!

Worst experience at any doctor that I've ever went to. Front office manager, Brenda, was rude and unprofessional.

She is unprofessional and doesn't care for you as a patient. She does not wish to listen to the issues at hand whether it is a broken tooth or soreness. She told me "if you don't like it, leave". Dr. Would not come out to speak to me after being verbally abused by his office manager. Real stand up place...doesn't belong in Ballantyne area and surely shouldn't have the privilege to practice.
