Dr. Steven Dale Broman, MD

Dr. Broman botched my wife's IUD device. He admitted he could not remove it and did not offer a refund or to pay for the expensive surgery required to remove it.

Dr. Broman has been my PCP for three years, but I’ve known him for a very long time as a contributing provider for a health clinic I managed. Broman is kind and caring - using utmost professionalism and calming bedside manner. He doesn’t talk down to his patients, rather he informs and listens - making patients feel they are an active part of of their healthcare management. He takes the time necessary to effectively diagnose the medical issue, while at the same time he ascertains the “big picture” that includes the emotional well-being of his patients. The man is truly awesome.

to Dr. Steven D. Broman, 10/18/17 To see Dr Broman for a very painful and large infection. He did examine, prescribed shot of antibiotics shot for pain prescription for antibiotics. Next daycalled and ask to see doctor more swelling and more pain. Set in waiting area for 40 minutes and then was told Doctor was out for lunch. I did state that I would like the doctor to see the swelling and soreness. Nurse assisted only in giving shot for antibiotics. Received prescription for pain. Try to explain to them that it was very painful. I did leave the office received phone call to come back for a shot for pain. They did say the doctor returned and left again. AFM said that they wanted me to go to the Imaging Center Friday a.m. So I did. I feel this was a waste of time and money. Day three more pain and swelling went to UC Health. Doctor stated that antibiotics would not take care of this infection that need to be addressed now. He did cut and drain it and inserted drain tube. I begin… to feel the relief of pain immediately. I felt that they were uncaring. I was nothing more then just a number!

Dr. Broman has been my PCP for over 12 years. I've never known such a kind and generous man including his time, patience, bedside manner and overall demeanor. He has a GREAT sense of humor - this is especially important to me. He allays my fears. I have had multi-faceted problems over the years and he has either sorted them out one by one or makes sure he finds me the best specialist to take over. His nurse Luci is a perfect partner to complete this dynamic duo who follow up when you are ill and check in to see how you are doing, Just amazing, gracious, and Godly caring people.

Dr. Broman is a caring family doctor. Often when something is more complex, he'll refer you to a specialist. If your insurance allows and you anticipate something complicated, you might go straight to a specialist.
