Dr. Steven Crain Bruner, MD

I would never see him again, my appointment was unprofessional and I was invalidated the whole time. He was offensive and had no grasp of mental health whatsoever and mocked me. I was only in for a physical that I needed for medication and it was awful.

Very sexist and inaccurate. Worst Dr I have ever been to.

Dr Bruner has horrible bedside manner. I felt like he didn't listen to my concerns and disregarded and even "laughed" when I was "pouring my heart out". I couldn't get out of his office fast enough. I even mentioned to the wonderful lab techs how terrible he was. I don't feel like they were surprised or shocked in the very least. If it weren't for them being so nice and sensitive that would have been by far a even worse experience. Dr Bruner for sure needs to hang it up. He's awful and I will never step foot in that office again!!!

I just recently started going to Dr Bruner and I think he does a wonderful job. As a future medical student he is a doctor I hope to be like some day. He is thorough in explaining not only your diagnosis but also explains what he is doing throughout the appointment. For example, today I thought I had a sinus infection so he used this light to see my nasal cavity. He could have very well done the procedure and told me I didn't have a sinus infection. Instead he had me stand in front of the mirror to show me and explain exactly what he was looking for and saw. He has a great bed side manner and makes you feel comfortable. He spends time with you making sure to answer all your questions and is very knowledgeable. I have been to many doctors and I have to say Dr Bruner is one of the best I've seen so far.

He's experienced enough to be an exceptional diagnostician and still takes the time to answer questions fully. I know my family is in excellent hands!

An arrogant and inattentive doctor who totally disrespects patients' wishes and concerns. I had to get second opinions twice and this doctor turned out to be dead wrong both times. He pushes you out in 2-3 minutes with a prescription and makes you feel that you have overstayed his welcome if you, God forbid, ask about alternative treatment options.

This doctor is inattentive and completely out of touch with his patients. He ignored the symptoms I was complaining about and misdiagnosed me. Luckily, I sought a second opinion or the matter could have been life threatening. He was short with me and did not listen to me at all.

I went to see Dr. Bruner and should have left after the first five minutes of my first appointment when he acted put off my my symptoms. He was dismissive with me and ordered a great many tests that I didn't need and did not pertain to the reason I went there in the first place. During the subsequent visits he misdiagnosed me and disregarded the problem I originally went to him for. Of the three times I saw him, I had the impression that since I wasn't a simple or routine visit, he really wasn't interested in putting forth the effort to find out the problem. Do yourself the favor of finding a doctor that is in the practice to help people, not to do a quick check up and move you on so they can collect your insurance company's cash.

Dr. Bruner is a waste of your copay. He pretty much seems only concerned with getting you out the door as fast as possible so he can get back to whatever he was doing before. He's dismissive, inattentive and usually surly.The support staff at LFMO is good as long as you're not dealing with Dr. Bruner's nurse. The other doctors I've seen on emergency visits are very knowledgeable and personable, special props to Dr. Harris, but everyone I've seen here has the same 'rushed' feeling each appointment. It's almost like they all have a 2pm tee time and your appointment is the only thing keeping them in the office. EVERY VISIT.

I was new to town and asked a neighbor who has seen Dr. Bruner for years. He delivered her kids. He was smart and educated me about my concerns. His nurse has been with him for years and that is a good sign too ! He knows a lot and still delivers babies. I like his experience and reputation in town.
