Dr. Steven Jeffrey Cannella, MD

My visits are always productive when I see Dr. Canella,He knows his patients and has their best interest at heart for them. Unfortunately,since he now has a PA i only see him every 3rd-4th visit. I do not feel my appointments with the PA are productive at all. I am not comfortable with her.she Questions the medical treatment plan Dr. Canella has in place for me.Thats all i have to say on that subject. Dr. Canella has 2 assistants Joanna and Velma, they know their patients and make sure they are taken care of. Dr. Canella along with Joanna and Velma make this Team work.

Transferred from P.A. to his office during a vacation time. He requested copy of the records. I follow up with the MD. Office at P.A. if they send the records to this office and it was confirmed. Then every time I called Dr. Cannella's office I get the answering machine. After call back several times, living a message, no one call me back. I tried to call for a new appt. and they answered. Then, they refer me to the doctor's assistance and they never answered the phone and never call me back. I was with an awfull pain, crying and no doctors care. I do not recommend this doctor.

This is one of the worse doctors I have ever been to. He doesn't bother to read your chart. He insists you need a procedure on your first visit and then when you wake up he has done the procedure in the wrong place. He also lies in the medical record so he can bill for more money.

Dr. Cannella is an excellent Pain Management Dr.

This place is something else. I was brought back to the the examining room to wait for 1 hour and 5 minutes NO APOLOGY BTW. Then gives me samples(anti inflammatory) to take that did nothing for my discomfort but make me nautious. I called to see if I could receive a different medication and was told to continue with my current meds and to do core strengthening. Quick question if your in to much pain how are you suppose to do that ? Do you know how many times I have been to see him? 3. Do you know how many times he has examined my condition? 0. It feels very odd that I put my pain in somones hands and they act this way.

This doctor did not listen to me and gave me medicine I had a reaction to and I am having the same reaction and this medicine is not working I am in so much pain would not recommend him to my dog for a vet he is snobby and he told me he could not help me with most of my problems anyway will not ever recommend him to anyone then all he wants to do is push putting a pain pump in you when you tell him you don't want something stuck inside you he is not a good doctor and his assistant is rude like you don't matter to her and his front office staff treat you like a vow at an auction I had 4 people tell me he was a quack but I gave him a chance and they were right

His front office staff is rude, inconsiderate, and borders on incompetent! His MA is just plain Rude! I have never been treated with a holier than thou attitude anywhere like I get here. His MA acts like she knows it all and nobody else knows anything! Dr Cannella treats his patients with care and compassion! He takes the time to listen, really listen. He gives fresh ideas when needed. He is a true gem of a Dr. If I was just rating the Dr, I'd give home 5 stars, if it was just the office staff it would be 0-1, so combined I'll give a total of 3. I'm a firm believer that you go to see the Dr, not the staff. I can put up with crappy staff if the Dr is outstanding!

The staff at this location would be described as less than desirable. Unfortunately, this reflects upon the doctors. Every time I call I get the answering machine. They never call back. One cannot get any answers to urgent questions. I have been left SO FRUSTRATED!

EXCELLENT DR.
