Dr. Steven Victor Caridi, MD

I am almost 40 yrs old. Several pregnancies and way more many Doctor's visits that I can remember. What I am trying to say I have a good experience on Doctors and I went to this Individual out of online reviews( he doesn't deserve the title of Professional). Not only he doesn't have any compassion and that warm feeling you need to get when visiting a professional. He blew out of proportions every question or medical concern I had. To put it into perspective, I am a healthy, active 40 yr old mom; one concern I had was still having nipple discharge after quitting breastfeeding my child 1.5 yrs ago. Well, Dr. Caridi's thoughts? Pituitary Gland Adenoma. Nothing in between... nope... and he tells you verbally that... and not only that; he put it in writing for the MRI scan. Let's say I have that, let's say is benign or not.... HE not only told me he suspected it just by my verbal statement; she shook his head and told me... wow, so many issues you have. In the middle of the visit he… inspected my body and pointed some beauty marks that needed to be removed ( I never had this suggested before by an MD) but, considering his office is run and shared by a laser treatment doctor as well... I guess he thought he put that out.... That's not all... I guess I had a little hair in my legs (Shame on me!) and he also started stating the prices of the HAIR REMOVAL biz he has next door. Then because my husband (present) mentioned I walked kinda funny... he (without seeing me walk) referred me to an specialist for that. Long story: I walked out with 5 specialist referrals, 1 Mammogram, 1 breast scan, 1 MRI and several dermatological suggestions not relevant to the visit. I did the MRI, Mammogram and Scans, and all good. He didin't even ordered my blood tests to include prolactin levels checked (usually what causes discharges). This simple test was done by my OBGYN showing that my prolactin levels were high. END of story. NO adenoma. NO Cancer. NO 20 million expensive tests to run. SImple Blood test. To say his demeanor and behavior were completely un-professional I would be just being fair. My husband walked with the same experience. HORRIBLE COLD, unprofessional Doctor. I would like no one to go thru a scam this size. Because you are gonna walk with 20 referrals, 20 tests orders and no responses to your original issues. Hey, I can be a doctor too and send my patients for 20 tests... one of those are gonna show something right? ZERO ZERO ZERO, do not waste your precious time and money on this individual.

Me and my wife come here I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Caridi he is an amazing doctor he gives you his time and more and Stephanie his assistant always follows through and beyond .

After researching doctors and checking that they accepted my insurance - the first words from this doctor were "I do not get paid much by your insurance, but since you are here I'll see you."

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Caridi and Emily for 6 years or more. We refer all of our friends, men and woman, looking for a Family Doc to Hampton's Medical. The staff is fantastic, and very insurance astute, and the doc's and nurses totally awesome and very friendly. I don't know of one person we have referred that has been unhappy for the referral. Totally happy!

There may be some waiting time, BUT that's because he takes the time needed plus some for you. He is extremely thorough, so I bring a book, knowing there is a good reason for any wait.

terrific doctor very complete examination
